3 BIOGRAPHY Alan Berson invites high-potential managers and top organizational leaders to look deeply at themselves and the people they lead. Are you asking great questions and listening to the answers or are your conversations a hectic battle to be heard? Alan utilizes the models and theories in his book, Leadership Conversations; Challenging High- Potential Managers to Become Great Leaders, published by Jossey-Bass, in practical ways that can be used to drive effective business conversations and inspiring leadership. Alan is an executive coach, leadership consultant, speaker, and professor. Since getting his BS and MBA from Wharton, he has held leadership, strategic planning and marketing roles at Fortune-500 firms including Gillette, Bausch & Lomb, and Marriott. He was the CEO of a VC funded training company with Fortune 500 clients. In addition to being the CEO of Leadership Conversations LLC, Alan is a Learning Director at Wharton Executive Education, the founder of the Doctorate in Leadership for Educators Program at Delaware Valley University, and is on the Associates Board of the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts. In addition to running team workshops and off-sites for clients, Alan has taught and coached executive students as an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown s McDonough School of Business in the Executive Masters in Leadership Program (EML), the Georgetown/ESADE Global Executive MBA Program (GEMBA), and the Booz Allen Hamilton Change Management Advanced Practitioner Program (CMAP). Offsite Workshop Intensive Alan Berson s informative off-site intensive workshops can range from one-hour to several days in length including both in-person and webinar instruction.
