4 1.00 Main Menu MAIN MENU The PDA s main menu is the focal point for all the users. It provides the users with a list of options that are available to them. Each list item refers to separate application functionality. The application s main menu provides the following functions: Joshi Software Consultants Start Of Day Inventory Menu Sales End Of Day Reports Communication Setup Show Version Details Function Actions < Start Of Day > This function is selected at the start of a shift. The User enters Salesman Code and Start Kilometers. < Inventory Menu > This Option has following Functionalities: 1. Stock Enquiry 2. 5 MAIN MENU Function Actions < Sales > Selecting this option allows the salesman to select the customer he/she is visiting. Then the following functionalities are available: 1. Product Sales 2. Product Returns 3. No Business 4. Review Sales 5. Business Complete 6. Print Picking Slip 7. Store Dockets 8. Store Receipts 9. Print Stored Dockets 10. Reprint Docket Number < End Of Day > When Salesman finishes the shift he/she selects this function. and enters End Kilometers, Expenses Amount & Bank Deposit Amount. Then PDA prints following reports: 1. Run Sheet 2. Run Summary 3. Stored Dockets (If any) Then salesman can print following reports: 1. Cheque List 2. Van Inventory 3. Reprint Docket Number Once printing is finished the PDA goes to Communication and transmit all the data(see Appendix B) to Host PC. The PDA receive all data(see Appendix A) from Host PC. < Reports > When Salesman selects this option, he/se can then print the following reports: 1. Todays Calls 2. Van Inventory 3. All Products 4.
