1 Continuing Education Reflexology Course Descriptions Introduction to Reflexology Learn how to ease a headache and reduce low back pain without touching your back. You will perform a 15- minute foot reflexology session on a classmate while receiving the same. The course will combine classroom theory and practical application and is taught by a certified Reflexologist. This is a great add-on service for Massage Therapists, Nail Technologists, Estheticians and Cosmetologists. Cost: $35 Monday, June 9 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturday, June 28 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Hand Reflexology Basics An entry-level class for practitioners of massage, nail technology, cosmetology or esthetics--this is a great value added treatment to reduce stress. You ll learn some history of hand reflexology, hand anatomy, thumb and finger techniques, hand mapping of the muscular and nervous systems, 15 minute and 30 minute routines. The course will combine online training, classroom theory and practical application taught by a certified Reflexologist. You will learn facial reflexology history, basic facial anatomy, thumb and finger techniques, facial mapping and a 15 and a 30- minute routine. 2 Ethics for Massage This is 4 hour course as required by the Pennsylvania State Board of Massage for licensees to maintain their state license. Cost: $25.00 Monday, June 30 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Monday, October 13 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Ayurvedic Herbal Body and Massage Oils This class is an introduction to ayurvedic body massage. You will learn how to choose oils based on your dosha combination along with how to help your clients choose their herbal blends. Effectively prepare your herbal oil treatments and apply those treatments through massage. This class is a combination of theory and practical components. Hours: 6 (Approved for PA License Renewal) Cost: $189 Monday, July 14 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Advanced Body Mechanics This class involves techniques used for proper mechanics while working around your table. Proper positioning of the head, end and sides of the table so your body is not overextended. Ways to exercise your body before and after a massage to stay healthy will also be reviewed. Gait and posture checks will be done to rule out and work on any abnormalities. This class is a combination of theory and practical Hours: 3 (Approved for PA License Renewal) Cost: $75 Monday, July 21 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm Advanced Deep Tissue Making proper use of your hands, thumbs, forearms and elbows to apply through deep tissue will be shown. Will work on how to warm a body before applying deeper work and how to perform a proper 90 minute full body deep tissue massage step by step will be explained and practiced. This class is a combination of both theory and practical. Cost: $99 Sunday, July 27 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm Myofacial Release This class will review brief history of myofascial and how this technique works the entire fasica of the body. You will learn how to examine clients for abnormalities and practice position release in the areas of the neck and extremities. Different techniques such as skin and muscle rolling, trigger point, fascial guiding, cross handed stretching and cross fiber friction will be explored. This class is a combination of both theory and practical. Cost: $99 Monday, September 15 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Holistic Aromatherapy and Massage Aromatherapy, both a science and an art is a natural complement to a massage practice. This class is for individuals interested in advancing their knowledge and application of essential oils in their business. This is a hands-on class that will show how to create products in combination with using techniques specific to the massage industry. 3 Brazilian Waxing Teaches the skills & techniques necessary to perform a safe and effective Brazilian bikini wax. Health and safety guidelines, how to prepare for the service, how to conduct the client consultation, perform the waxing, positioning and aftercare will all be reviewed and performed. Hours: 4 Cost: $149 Note: Participants must bring a client if you are not willing to have the service performed on yourself. Monday, June 16 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm NailGrafx NailGrafx is incredible fine art design possibilities on your fingertips using high resolution photos. This session will review the techniques needed for successful NailGrafx services. Hours: 5 Monday, August 11 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm MBLEx Exam Review If you have not yet received your Massage Therapy License and need to review for the MBLEx exam in order to become licensed this class will provide the refresher to do that. Hours: 8 Cost: $100 Monday, September 22 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm CPR Refresher In order to renew or get your first license you must have valid CPR certification. This class will provide your update or your first certification. Hours: 3 Cost: $40 Monday, September 15 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Monday, October 27 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm

5 Instructor Bios Robby Lynd Robby has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for 12 years and an approved instructor for 11 years. He currently owns Nature s Touch of Serenity Spa in York, Pennsylvania. Robby s philosophy of his work is massage allows him to interact with people in a compassionate, non-judgmental way while at the same time providing a safe nurturing environment to help improve their overall wellness and quality of life. He is extremely fortunate and deeply thankful to be in a position that not only allows him to do what he loves but also have a positive impact on others. His areas of specialty include Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofaxcial Release, Trigger Point, Warm Stone, Athlete Care and Elder Care. John Keller John has been a licensed massage therapist for 5 years and an approved instructor for 3 years. He made his decision to return to school after having worked and established himself in unrelated career fields. John has worked with an established fitness/wellness center, a chiropractor and spa in the surrounding area. John is determined to advance his career as a Massage Therapist by continuously learning additional techniques. His current areas of specialty include Swedish, Deep Tissue, Warm Stone, Reflexology, Maternity, Myofascial, Trigger Point, Sports Massage, Jeff McCreary Jeff is Founder and President of Central Penn Reflexology in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. After a personal experience with reflexology that ended 10 years of back pain, Jeff decided to change his career path and work as a certified reflexologist to help others facing chronic and acute health issues. Jeff minored in Athletic Coaching/Training at California University of Pennsylvania. He received his reflexology certification from the International Academy of Medical Reflexology and received a post-graduate, Progressive Reflexology Diploma through the Universal College of Reflexology, Canada. Jeff is currently studying under Dr. Jesus Manzaneres of Barcelona, Spain and working toward his Proficiency Certification in The Science-Based Manzanares Method of Reflexology. Jeff is a member of Reflexologists of America and the Pennsylvania Reflexology Organization. He is also the Continuing Education reflexology instructor at the Lancaster School of Cosmetology and Therapeutic Bodywork in Lancaster, PA while currently working toward his national reflexology certification. Michelle Hainley Michelle has been a Licensed Cosmetologist for 4 years and a Licensed Cosmetology Instructor for 3 years. She has revamped the school s Nail Technology program to include some of the latest trends in nail services including Nail Art, 3-D Art, and Gel polish applications. Her philosophy of the medium that we are given makes the canvas for our creativity and imagination" is taught through all of her classes. Michelle strongly believes that teaching students cosmetology and nail technology is a wonderful honor. Working with students so that they become artistic professionals fulfills her profession in the beauty industry. Diana Marshall Diana has been a complimentary healer for 20 + years and farming for 15 years using organic and biodynamic principles. She has been an instructor at the Lancaster School of Cosmetology & Therapeutic Bodywork since As a licensed massage therapist, cosmetologist, certified aromatherapist, artisan chef she has had the opportunity to work with Elizabeth Messina of A Lovely Workshop, Martine Cajas of Dream Weddings, Zen Honeycutt of Mom Across America, Wellspan and Montel Willams. She has recently opened a studio 3 miles from her farm where she also shares her passion offering wellness classes to groups and individuals. Her purpose is to help support people to become aware and responsible for their own health and wellness regardless of where they are in their journey

6 Cindy Ferris Cindy has been a Licensed Esthetician since 2005, a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2007, an approved Massage Instructor since 2009 and a Licensed Esthetics Teacher since She specializes in Circadia facial treatments, full body waxing, Brazilian waxing, Swedish Massage, Trigger Point therapy, upper and lower back issues, hot stone and detailed massage work.
