Basic Cosmetology The 1500 clock hour program is presented as follows: (VA eligible students must complete 1,500 clock hours) Theory of cosmetology- 150 hours Manicure & pedicure- 90 hours Skin care training including facials and makeup- 30 hours Scalp treatments- 30 hours Shampooing & conditioning- 60 hours Hairstyling- 390 hours Hair cutting- 180 hours Hair color treatments- 120 hours Hair restructuring/permanent waving hours Salon and business management- 180 hours Lash and brow tinting and arching- 30 hours 1500 hours Day Schedule: 35 hours per week Weeks 1 7 Monday Friday 9am 5pm Weeks 8 43 Tuesday - Saturday 9am 5pm Weeks 1 75 Monday Friday 5pm 9pm

2 Manicurist / Nail Technician The 600 clock hour program is presented as follows: (VA eligible students must complete 600 clock hours) Bacteriology, sterilization, sanitation- 40 hours Nail structure, composition, pathologies- 60 hours Manicures & pedicures- 160 hours Artificial nails- 160 hours Nail art 60 hours Salon development including Business Administration and Professional Ethics- 80 hours Cosmetology law, rules and regulations- 40 hours Day Schedule: 30 hours per week Weeks 1 2 Monday 1pm 5pm Tuesday Friday 10am 5pm Weeks 3 20 Tuesday 10am 5pm Wednesday 10am 1pm Thursday- Friday 10am 5pm Saturday 9am -- 5pm Weeks 1 30 Monday Friday 5pm 9pm 600 hours

3 Esthetician The 600 clock hour program is presented as follows: (VA eligible students must complete 600 clock hours) Bacteriology, sterilization, sanitation, safety- 80 hours Histology, dermatology and physiology of the skin- 180 hours Facials- 200 hours Non-permanent hair removal- 40 hours Salon development including Business Administration and Professional Ethics- 60 hours Cosmetology law, rules and regulations- 40 hours 600 hours Day Schedule: 30 hours per week Weeks 1 2 Monday 9:00am 5pm Tuesday Thursday 11:00am 5pm Friday 10:30am 5pm Weeks 3 20 Tuesday Thursday 11:00am 5pm Friday 10:30am 5pm Saturday 9:00am 5pm Weeks 1 30 Monday Friday 5:00pm 9pm

4 Instructor Upon successful completion of Instructor curriculum the student will receive a certificate and be prepared to pass the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology examination for an Instructor License. The 1000 clock hour program is presented as follows: (VA students must complete 1,000 clock hours) All course work meets Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology curriculum requirements as follows: Orientation 60 hours Introduction to teaching and curriculum 120 hours Course outlining and development; lesson planning; teaching techniques; teaching aids; developing and administering and grading examinations 330 hours Cosmetology law, cosmetology school management and record keeping 90 hours Teaching-assisting in the classroom and clinic 150 hours Practice teaching - classroom and clinic 250 hours 1000 hours Full Time Schedule: 35 hours per week Weeks 1-15 Monday - Friday 9am 5pm Approximately half way through the course the schedule for Instructor will change to: Weeks Tuesday - Saturday 9am 5pm Part Time Schedule: 19 hours per week Weeks 1-53 Monday 5pm 9pm Tuesday & Thursday 9am 5pm

5 Advanced Therapeutic Massage 33.5 Semester Credit Hours (900 clock hours for VA Students) The Advanced Therapeutic Massage Course gives students a strong foundation of clinic management theory and procedures required to practice in a clinic or spa setting. This includes instruction in client assessment and advanced treatment protocols such as myo-fascial release, trigger point technique and therapeutic deep tissue massage. Students will also learn allied therapeutic modalities needed to succeed in an advanced clinic setting. All lab / clinic work emphasizes Anatomy, Physiology, and Pathology, as well as business and spa management procedures. Upon graduation student will be eligible for entry-level positions in the Massage and Spa industry. Day Schedule: 40 weeks Class meets Monday Friday plus on Saturday a month for clinic Evening Schedule: 45 weeks Class meets Monday Thursday plus one Saturday a month for clinic 9:00am 2pm 5:30pm 9pm
