We are continuing and expanding on the tradition of fine wooden blocks started by William Bultman in Our new name, Lindenwood, Inc. reflects our growing offerings and capabilities. All of our blocks are still handcrafted in Grand Rapids, Michigan from sustainable Michigan basswood. Uncle Goose blocks have been honored with Parent Choice Awards, Dr. Toy s 100 Best Toys award, and Oppenheim Toy Portfolio awards. In this age of high-tech playthings, classic wooden blocks are a welcome, high-touch toy that engages both child and parent. In light of recent concerns regarding the use of lead paint in imported toys, we want to take this opportunity to assure you that all of our blocks meet U.S. and European safety standards. 7 Specialty Blocks 7 Sudoku Puzzle Blocks SU-9 The object of our sudoku block puzzle is to find the sequence of cubes that will form the correct solution to the puzzle. Created with two solutions, this puzzle is very challenging. 8 8 Froebel Gifts The Froebel Gifts, were developed by Friedrich Froebel in 1837 for the early education of children. The Froebel Gifts are perhaps the world's most intricately conceived playthings; they appear deceptively simple but represent a sophisticated approach to child development. Gift 2 Gift 1 FW-1 This Gift consists of 12 soft yarn balls of approximately 2" in diameter. The balls are colored red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. They have a string (approx. 6 inches long) with a loop on one end so that they can be dangled. It is introduced while the child is still an infant and is used for children ages 3 mos. to 3 years. Gift 2 FW-2 Gift 2 contains two 2" cubes, two 2" cylinders, two 2" spheres, and hanging apparatus.

9 Froebel Gifts 9 Gift 6 FW-6 In Gift 6 the three-inch cube is divided into 18 oblong blocks, 12 flat, square blocks (caps), and 6 narrow columns. Gift 6 continues from the form of the three-inch cube introduced in Gift 5 by introducing new proportions to the three-inch cube. Best for children age 5 and older. Gift 3 FW-3 The two-inch cube is divided into eight 1" cubes. Merchandising Tip Gift 4 FW-4 The two-inch cube is divided into eight oblong blocks which are 2" x 1" x 1/2".
