1 Professional Summary [Detailed CV follows on Page 1-14] Dr. Jahangir Achakzai is Associate Dean and Associate Professor (TTS) of Economics at the University of Balochistan (UOB). He has worked as Dean Faculty of Management Sciences of UOB during Dr. Achakzai completed his PhD in Economics from University of Balochistan and WTO Secretariat Geneva, Switzerland in He has been serving the University as faculty member for the last 25 years ( ), most recently as Head of the Economics Department. He serves on several high-level committees/ commissions and taskforces of the government. He is also a referee for numerous academic journals. His research interests lie in the areas of international trade, regional trade, development economics; and agricultural economics. He has authored or co-authored more than 50 articles, book chapters and professional reports.
