Deze daling is toe te schrijven aan beide segmenten: het aantal gepresteerde uren uitzendarbeid daalde met,26% in het arbeiderssegment en met,9% in het bediendesegment. 5 Business Confidence vs TAW The National Bank of Belgium's business barometer declined in August for the fifth month in a row. Business leaders' confidence weakened again in the manufacturing industry, but the strongest deterioration was noted in the business related services sector. The business climate worsened in the building industry too, although to a limited extent. Finally, in the trade sector, the previous month's decline was completely reversed, thanks to a generally more positive outlook. All figures in this monthly report relate to daily averages in order to neutralize the differences in number of working days per month. The year on year evolution is calculated from gross figures. The month on previous month changes are calculated from seasonally adjusted figures (the seasonal adjustment is performed by the Surveys Department of the National Bank of Belgium using the Tramo Seats method).
