6 SECTION 3: Required Courses for the Academic Program not included in Core or Track Section 3 is broken down into two tables. Table 3 List all courses that serve as prerequisites to degree requirements, courses required for the major that are from other disciplines, and all electives (selection of one or more courses from list, i.e. choose 9 hours at 300 or above level) that are not in included in the discipline core (excluding general education courses). Table 4 List all general education courses required for the major. Include any general education course that is part of the major. For example, if the major is mathematics and the major requires MAT 128, then MAT 128 must be listed in Table 4, not Table 1.
