With a diverse student population, the district serves the south central Alaska communities of Anchorage, Eagle River, Chugiak and Girdwood. HR staff would also then have to place the applications in one of over one dozen, cumbersome filing cabinets. The old system, Boyer Donohue said, was quite time-consuming and complex, and did not always connect school administrators with the most suitable, qualified candidates. Not only was our previous approach complicated, but it served as a disadvantage to the applicants and our schools, he said. 01
