1 Course Description List Arc Flash This course is used to raise awareness about the specific electrical hazards of an arc flash. This course will also introduce a new CSA Standard on workplace electrical safety, and introduce some of the safe work practices related to arc flash hazards. Aerial Lifts This course discusses safe work practices and procedures when working with or around aerial lifts. Air Jacks and Shoring This Air Jacks and Shoring course is designed to give you the procedures and hazards of Air Jacks and Shoring and how to keep yourself safe when working in or near this type of operation. Chainsaw Training The objective of this training is to develop competent chainsaw operators, who will understand the hazards associated with chainsaw operations, maintenance, refueling and safety precautions. Chemical Biological Hazards and Harmful Substances A modular set of courses to help you with chemical biological hazards and harmful substances training. City Of Calgary Environmental Policy The purpose of this course is to inform your company of your environmental responsibilities as a contractor for The City of Calgary. This course includes environmental responsibilities information for contractors working with The City of Calgary, The City of Calgary's Environmental Policy and Contractor environmental acknowledgement form. New workers or subcontractors don t automatically know what to do on a new jobsite and this is where the Sub-Contractor Orientation Course can assist. Even if they are skilled and well trained, they cannot know the particular hazards and problems of a new worksite. Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) This course covers Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) products, i.e. goods sent/received via mail and courier services, and the preparation of hazardous waste chemicals for disposal. This course focuses primarily on the ground transportation and TDG Clear Language Regulations.
