1 System requirements for ICS Skills ATS A system requirements check verifies that the computer fulfils the requirements to run ICS Skills Automated tests. There are 4 possible checks that can be made prior to testing. Basic PC Check Network Check In Application check for Office 2003 In Application check for Office 2007 If any of the checks fail, instructions will be provided on screen. If you have any problems following the instructions please contact support@ics.ie Please note :In Application checks will run the first time you start a test. You can visit the System Requirements page below at any time by visiting the following link Select the required test and click Continue.

2 Basic Test If your system has passed all of the tests this will be indicated by an symbol. ( as above ) If your system has failed any of the tests, this will be indicated by do not have the correct version of Sun Java installed on your PC.. This will check that the following standard programs are on the PC - Microsoft.net, Sun Java & MS Office 2003 ( version should match assigned tests in ATS ). If your system has passed all of the tests this will be indicated by. If your system has failed any of the tests, this will be indicated by an symbol. ( as above ) This may happen If you do not have Microsoft.Net or Sun Java or the correct version of Microsoft Office installed on your PC. Click Help and follow the instructions provided on screen to download the updated software (Microsoft.Net or Sun Java). If you have the incorrect version of Office on your PC you should check that the appropriate tests have been assigned in the ATS. If you have the correct version of Office on your PC or have any problems updating your software please click the
