Albanese, MD Dr. Albanese is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is the only fellowship-trained pediatric orthopedic surgeon in the area. Dr. Albanese treats: Children with all orthopedic problems and injuries. Leroy H. Cooley, MD Dr. Cooley is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and has been providing orthopedic care in Utica for more than 33 years. He also completed a fellowship in sports medicine. Dr. Cooley treats: Patients with all types of orthopedic problems from sports injuries to traumas. Kim, MD Dr. Kim is fellowship-trained in hand and wrist surgery and is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Shoulder, hip and knee replacement Arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee for rotator cuff tears and anterior cruciate ligaments Madan Vallem, MD Dr. Vallem completed fellowships in orthopedic trauma, hand and total joints. He has a special interest in performing primary and revision total knee and total hip joint replacements. Dr. Vallem treats: Patients with hip, knee, hand and wrist problems. Primary and revision total hip and total knee joint replacement Maureen Quattrone, RPA-C Maureen is a certified physician assistant by the American Academy of Physician Assistants and is a member of the New York State Registered Physician Assistants. She has provided orthopedic care in Utica since Kevin Gehr, PA-C, CNMT Kevin earned his master s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, New York, and completed a certificate program in Nuclear Medicine Technology at Lancaster General College of Nursing and Health Sciences in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Yannick Grenier, MD Neurosurgeon Dr. Grenier is board certified in Neurological Surgery and is fellowship-trained in pain and movement disorders as well as functional neurosurgery. She specializes in the following surgeries: Stereotactic procedures including but not limited to: - Stereotactic tailored craniotomies for meningioma or metastases - Stereotactic radiosurgical procedures for metastases Minimally invasive spine surgeries such as microdiscectomies Nerve and spinal decompression procedures for trauma, synovial cysts, tumors or bleeds. The evaluations can also be used prior to and following brain surgery or treatment, and in determining return to school or work status in the context of a neurological condition. Dr. Bauer treats adults 18 years of age or older. Debra Walz, RN, MS, WHNP-BC, AOCNP, STAR/C As a board certified Women s Health nurse practitioner and a board certified Oncology nurse practitioner, Debra s education and clinical experience ensures that your patient s breast care will be of the highest quality, managed expeditiously and with relationships of trust established between patients and providers. She guides patients through a system of care that facilitates education, diagnosis, treatment and support for patients and their families. Debra works with patients who have one or more of the following breast health concerns: Palpable breast lump Abnormal mammogram or ultrasound finding with recommendation for biopsy Previous history of breast cancer High risk for breast cancer.
