The first book printed in Oxford was in OUP is the oldest university press in the world Part of the University of Oxford, OUP s mission is to further excellence in research, scholarship & education globally. 7 Oxford Journals Collection and Archives The Oxford University Press journals collection consists of six subject packages the majority of which are societyowned journals ; Medicine -68 titles Life Sciences 34 titles Mathematics 25 titles Law 28 titles Social Sciences 44 titles Humanities 61 titles In 2011 two journals joined our Medical collection; Clinical Infectious Diseases and The Journal of Infectious Diseases. We publish these highly respected and influential titles in conjunction with the IDSA (Infectious Diseases Society of America) The current journals collection includes all volumes published from 1996-onwards 7
