1 Dynamic Mask Animation Project Name: A Mask a simple way to reveal or hide portions of a layer or layers below it selectively. This technique requires making one layer a mask layer and the layers below it the masked layers. This project will involve photographing a series of 6 sequential dynamic poses (you or someone else) against a white background and also the of animation mask imagery in Macromedia Flash on your chosen them STEP ONE: CHOOSE a theme for your Dynamic Mask Animation project. (Song lyric or poetry.) STEP TWO: DRAW the storyboard for your 6 sequential dynamic poses and animation mask imagery. Your mask imagery must contain words from song lyric or poetry. Dynamic Mask Animations STEP THREE: LOOK at the example on the school network: K://Mr. Arnett/ASM4M/Unit 4/Dynamic Mask Animation Project/intro.htm STEP FOUR: ANSWER the Tutorial Questions - How to Create a Mask - explaining how to create a mask in Adobe Photoshop. STEP FIVE: SHOOT your series of photos against a white background performing your chosen 6 sequential dynamic poses. STEP SIX: CREATE your dynamic masks in Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 - see Tutorial abov STEP SEVEN: IMPORT your dynamic masks (.PSD files) into the Macromedia Flash program Library.
