Discovery of Access Gateway via Brocade Host-Based SMI Agent is not supported. Other compatible models like, 300, 5100, 4012, 4016, 4018, 4020, 4024, 4424, 5424, 5450, 5460, 5470, 5480, 8000, which supports Access Gateway should get discovered by CCS but we have not qualified them in-house. CommandCentral 5.2 has SMI-S only configuration option for Brocade. Discovery of switches using Brocade API was removed from the CommandCentral 5.1 onwards as Brocade has EOLed these API interfaces. For users migrating from CommandCentral 5.0 to the 5.2 version, its recommended to convert the discovery method from API to SMI-S. Users need to remove the old API configuration from the CommandCentral Console and configure Explorers with the SMI-S agents using 5.0MP1_RP6. Contact Symantec Technical Support for more details.
