1 DOUBLE DEGREE PROGRAM MEXICO - USA CETYS UNIVERSIDAD - CITY UNIVERSITY In 2005, City University of Seattle (CityU) and Centro de Enseñanza Técnica y Superior (CETYS) Universidad signed an agreement to offer a double degree program allowing students to study in Mexico and the United States at CityU in Bellevue, Washington. Graduates from the program will be awarded a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree (the American equivalent of a Licenciatura) from CityU and their Licenciatura from CETYS Universidad in International Business, Business Administration, Marketing Administration and International Public Accounting (negocios internacionales, administración de empresas, administración de mercadotecnia y contador público internacional). How does it work? Enrolled students in the double degree program take hybrid courses. These courses have an on-line component with the addition of two intensive weekend face-to-face class sessions. The classes are taught at CETYS Universidad, with CityU faculty. Students are required to attend a 3 week summer session at CityU s location in Bellevue, Washington. During the second summer, students have the option to study in Europe. In the past, students have visited Slovakia and Greece.
