1 Annick Drouin PhD Student Université Laval Département de biologie, 1045, av. de la Médecine Québec (QC) G1V 0A6 Canada annick.drouin@gmail.com Research interest and qualifications My aim is to progress in research related to marine ecology. I am especially interested in studies on the impacts of anthropogenic activities and invasive species at the community and ecosystem levels. The sum of all my experiences has allowed me to develop skills in realization of in situ manipulative experiments in coastal environments, elaboration of experimental designs, statistical analysis of community-based data, leading work teams, and field sampling using scuba diving. Education PhD student Biology, Université Laval, Québec (QC) Canada Dissertation: Impact of the invasive seaweed Codium fragile on eelgrass beds. Advisors: Chris W. McKindsey (Department of Fisheries and Oceans), and Ladd E. Johnson (Université Laval) MSc Renewable resources, Université du Québec à Chicoutimi, Chicoutimi (QC) Canada Dissertation: Comparison of invertebrate communities between lakes with fish present and natural fishless lakes.
