2 Harmony is one of the longest running and most successful addiction treatment programs in the world. We provide the foundation for sustained recovery from the diseases of alcohol and drug addiction. Harmony is a state-of-the-art residential addiction treatment program, confidentially nestled on a 43-acre campus in the Rocky Mountains, just outside of Estes Park, Colorado, approximately an hour and a half drive from Denver. We offer comprehensive treatment for adults age 18 and over, including a family member program segment. Harmony uses the time-tested and evidence-based bio-psychosocial 12-step treatment model that addresses the client s body, mind, and spirit. At Harmony, you will receive expert, individualized, gender separate, medical and psychological care, in a peaceful, beautiful, confidential, and respectful environment. 4 Primary treatment provides a foundation for sustained lifelong recovery. But recovery does not end, and in some ways is just beginning, when a client leaves the Harmony Campus. It is what we do with the foundation we have built that determines lifelong sobriety and happiness. That is why Harmony is dedicated to our clients posttreatment follow-through. All clients leave Harmony with a comprehensive Aftercare Plan that may include therapeutic group meetings, 12-step meetings, residential sober living, a Harmony graduate Community Connection, and individual therapy and counseling. All clients are also given Harmony s new Aftercare Mobile Phone App as a means of monitoring their sobriety and staying connected to Harmony s aftercare counselors. Additionally, Harmony provides free aftercare for life through weekly Aftercare Therapeutic Group sessions. These sessions are offered for both clients and family members weekly in two Colorado Front Range locations. Through our Primary Treatment and Aftercare Program, Harmony is there for you for a lifetime of recovery. 6 Each year, approximately 650 men and women complete treatment at Harmony and begin a lifelong journey of sobriety. We do not believe that should be the end of our relationship with you. Nor do we think it should be the end of your relationship with one another. Residential treatment is a powerful spiritual experience that can bond us for life. We believe that by nurturing that bond, we will enhance our recovery. 8 Addiction impacts the entire family. Harmony s Family Program is one of the most powerful and important components of treatment at Harmony for both the client and the family. Family members and other concerned loved ones are often deeply affected by the behaviors inherent in the lifestyle of someone who is chemically dependent. Harmony places great emphasis on helping affected family members and other concerned individuals by providing a structured, intensive Family Program Weekend on our campus that includes: Information about the disease of addiction Development of recovery skills and new coping strategies Educational lectures Group feedback sessions to support the learning experience Effective communication skills Development of a personal recovery plan Introduction to 12-Step programs for on-going support Individual counseling as requested Family Program cost is included in client tuition. 10 Legal professionals suffer the highest rate of addiction among the professions. Harmony understands the stress, exhaustion, and isolation of the practice of law, and the depression, anxiety, and addiction that can follow. We also understand the need for confidential and professional treatment. We offer a 30-day (and variable) comprehensive treatment program for legal professionals using the evidence based Bio-Psycho-Social 12-Step Residential Treatment Model. The program takes place in the confidential setting of Harmony s private campus in the Rocky Mountains. Treatment Components include medical detoxification (if necessary), medical and medication assessment, psychological assessment, professional counseling, group process, education sessions, peer interaction, and quiet individual reflection. Holistic services including nutrition, exercise, meditation, yoga, acupuncture, and T ai Chi are offered as well. 14 The Harmony ReCommitment To Recovery Program (RCR) is an abbreviated residential stay for individuals who have relapsed within 1 year of discharge from a comprehensive, accredited 12-Step-Based residential treatment program, such as Harmony s Primary Treatment Program. It is designed for individuals who are willing to make a serious re-commitment to recovery, including a commitment to an appropriate aftercare sober living environment. 18 Harmony s Young Adult Recovery Track, YART, enhances treatment of young adults through focused education groups designed for the young person. Young adults have unique needs as they begin new lives in recovery. We recognize these needs by involving clients in a progressive, interactive, and technologically advanced treatment program. YART focuses on the year old addicted population that has increased at an alarming rate. It also provides the client and the family the help they need to transition successfully into the next steps beyond treatment.
