4 OUTPATIENT PROGRAMS
5 Riveredge provides Partial Hospitalization programming to children and adolescents. We provide Intensive Outpatient Programs to adolescents and adults. Our outpatient team includes Program Therapists, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners and Psychiatrists. Expressive Therapy is offered daily to all outpatient participants. Transportation assistance will be assessed during the intake process. Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) Our Child and Adolescent PHP is a therapeutic day treatment program. Our program aims to serve individuals who require more structure than found in traditional outpatient services, but do not meet criteria for inpatient treatment. Academic credit can be earned through daily school sessions. PHP meets year round Monday Friday 9:00am 3:00pm. Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Our Adolescent IOP is for youth ages 12 through 17. Participants benefit from a less intensive and therapeutic after school program. Adolescent IOP meets year round Monday Thursday 4:30pm 7:30pm. Adult Intensive Outpatient Program Our Adult Intensive Outpatient Program offers 2 tracks: Co-Occurring and Mental Health. Adults transitioning from inpatient treatment, or managing symptoms to prevent hospitalization, may find this program beneficial. Our program includes includes Illness Management Recovery and Peer Education Recovery groups. Adult IOP meets year round Monday Thursday 9:30am 12:30pm. 7 Our Inpatient Programs at Riveredge Hospital provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for children, adolescents and adults. We serve those who are in acute crisis due to mental illness, emotional distress, destructive behavior patterns and co-occurring substance abuse. Our team of experts, along with patients and their families, determine an individualized treatment plan. All patients are offered individual, family and group therapy including Expressive (Dance/Movement, Art, Drama) and Animal Assisted. We believe in providing these services in a trauma informed manner. Children and Adolescents Our Child and Adolescent Inpatient Behavioral Health programs treat a variety of emotional and behavioral problems including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, severe disruptive behavior, developmental disorders and suicidality. Academic credit can be earned for their school participation. Children (ages 3-12) n Child-focused therapeutic activities n Enhanced family engagement through family sessions and open visitation n Sand Tray and Play Therapies offered Adolescents (ages 13-17) n Adolescent units are separated by gender n Engages youth to address issues such as positive communication, depression, anger management, trauma, healthy boundaries, relationship development n Parent education provided Adults Our Inpatient Adult Services assists adults, 18 years and older, who are experiencing psychiatric or emotional problems. The goal of treatment is to reduce and manage symptoms while providing education regarding their individual illness and recovery. Evidence based treatment modules are utilized to enhance overall treatment outcomes including Illness Management Recovery. 9 Persons living with an Intellectual or Developmental Disability often experience limitations with their intellectual functioning and adaptive behavior. These limitations can be expressed in the individual s conceptual, social, and practical everyday living skills.
