1 GUJARAT TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY INNOVATION SANKULS CONSORTIUM OF CO-CHAIRPERSONS (INDUSTRY) AND CMAI ASSOCIATION OF INDIA ANNOUNCES RD 3 CCI TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION EXCELLENCE AWARDS Date: 17 th July, 2015; Venue: Ahmedabad, Gujarat After the overwhelming recognition to the first CCI TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION EXCELLENCE AWARDS 2013 and 2 nd CCI TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION EXCELLENCE AWARDS 2014, the Consortium of 25 Co- Chairpersons - Industry (CCI) and CMAI association is happy to announce the 3 rd CCI TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION EXCELLENCE AWARDS 2015 to recognize excellence in different aspects of working of technology Universities. The awards will be presented on 17 th July, 2015 at Ahmedabad, Gujarat. A technology university can present the work done for this unique award. The first CCI TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION EXCELLENCE AWARDS event was organized on 18 th May, 2013 and His Excellency Ndubuisi Vitus Amaku, the High Commissioner of Nigeria presented the awards. The Second CCI TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION EXCELLENCE AWARDS event was organized on 19 th July, 2014 and H.E. Ndubuisi Amaku - Ambassador of Nigeria, H.E. Shaida. Mohd. Abdali - Ambassador of Afghanistan, H.E. Rizali. W. Indrakesuma - Ambassador of Indonesia, H.E. Dr. Lewis Mbilizi - DH Commissioner, Malawi graced the ceremony.

2 Gujarat Technological University (GTU) has set up 25 GTU Innovation Sankuls all across Gujarat. Each Sankul provides a platform for Colleges and surrounding industries to work together. A Sankul Committee is co-chaired by a senior academician and an industry leader. The Consortium wants to connect with national chambers of commerce and involve them in this project. We are happy to announce that the CCI Technology Education Excellence Awards 2015 are being organized jointly with CMAI (Communication Multimedia Applications Infrastructure) Association of India-. CMAI is India s largest ICT association with 48,500 members and 54 MOU partners across the globe. CMAI is also organizing National Education Awards TM at National and State Levels. (Please see and CCI and CMAI will constitute a high power Jury. This Jury would be able to transparently adjudge the entries on their merit. The Awards will permit the universities to learn from the good practices of the whole of the technical education system and will permit the universities to offer to the young progressively better educational experience. The Second CCI Technology Education Excellence Awards will be presented on Saturday, 17 th July 2015 at Ahmedabad (Gujarat State). There is no fee for submitting nominations to CCI Awards. Nomination form for the Award is attached at the end of this document. Last date of Submission of nomination form by 5 th July, 2015 Nomination forms can be sent to cciawards@gtu.edu.in Categories of Award: listed at Annexure I Note: 1. Awards in some of the categories may not be offered, if excellent nominations are not received by the last date. 2. The Jury members will be distinguished personalities, who will be at arm s length for the university/ management under consideration. 3. The Consortium is associated with GTU. The nominations for Awards will be received and adjudged objectively and fairly. However if GTU should be selected for any Award, it will be considered as an additional Award by CCI and another University would be selected for that Award.
