1 1 st POST GRADUATE COURSE IN CRITICAL CARE PHARMACY COURSE DESCRIPTION The 1 st Post Graduate Course on Critical Care Pharmacy is a three-day program designed for pharmacists in hospital settings who provide specialized services for critically ill patients. The training program prepares participants to solve drug therapy problems and to contribute to multidisciplinary patient care teams through lectures on pharmacotherapy, current intensive care practices and guidelines, and exposure to patient rounds. This program also allows participants to support their hospital s efforts to ensure safe, quality care for critically ill patients. COURSE OBJECTIVES 1. To provide updated knowledge on current intensive care practices, protocols and guidelines 2. To develop critical thinking skills in the assessment and management of patients in the Intensive Care Unit 3. To identify the roles of the clinical pharmacist in the intensive care team 4.
