11 How It Works Technology Inc. The caller dials in using either the local or (Toll-free) phone number of the service provider. The VoIP gateway, with the assistance of the IVR server, will prompt the caller to enter the PIN (Calling Card or Account) number. PIN-less (if ANI (Caller ID) is registered). Once the PIN is entered, the system will authenticate the caller, prompt the IPsmarx Switch to announce the account balance to the caller, and invite the caller to dial the destination number. After the Destination number is entered, the system will calculate the maximum call duration and the IPsmarx Switch will play it to the caller. Once the call is completed, the call charge will be deducted from the caller's account balance.

Unlimited number of prepaid calling cards hosted by the system with flexible rate tables including peak/off-peak rates. Easy management of both calling cards and their corresponding PINs. Standard reporting of CDRs (call detail records) and in-depth analysis per VoIP carrier based on its corresponding traffic and generated revenues. Predefined reporting tools by call destination country/city, performance for each destination code, activity and performance of each calling card, ASR, and by source country/city. Advanced Features Web access for calling card clients and agents/distributers in order to sign up or monitor their corresponding CDRs and account balances. Home Service Option where Residential or Business Subscribers can sign up online (through web access) and monitor call history and account balance. Such an option requires the VoIP gateway to support ANI (also called Caller-ID or CLI) feature. PIN-less option (requires the gateway Caller-ID feature support) - once registered into the system, the subscriber deas not enter a PIN.
