Nikon was big, big with their F camera, but the old time German names still held up. Lecia, Zeiss and Rollei were fine makers of cameras. The space program bought Hasselblad to use in the shuttle launches and also became a revered name. I came back to in That had to be the golden age for film photography. I remember one Fall Saturday morning that a whole crowd met in our store just to discuss where to go to get the best leaf pictures.
