2 Introduction Onehop is the world s first SMS marketplace. You can search for text providers based on your industry and use case. You can also view the delivery rate and latency rate, so it is easy for you to compare SMS providers. Onehop adds transparency to the process of picking a text provider. Routes make it easy for you to switch text providers. Magento offers an open source ecommerce platform which enables companies to set up and run an online store. Magento has enabled businesses to integrate their physical and digital shopping experiences. Texting helps retail customers know the status of their order, when it has been shipped and delivered. The immediacy of texting can also help online retailers keep tabs on their inventory, restocking in time, so they don t lose out on orders. On Onehop, you can buy texts according to your use case. With Onehop on Magento, you can write templates based on various scenarios, for your convenience. Automating SMSs based on Magento process flows will also increase your operational efficiency. Excited? Let s get started. 1. How to install Onehop on Magento 1. Log in to your Admin panel on Magento. 2. Search for Onehop in the marketplace. 3. Install it. 4. Onehop will now appear as a tab, so you can click on it and go to it directly. 1.1 Register on Onehop 1. Go to Onehop.co and sign up.

3 2. Once you re logged in, click on the dropdown next to your name and select Profile. 3. In Profile, under Password and API Information, you will find your API key. Copy it. 4. Now, go back to Magento and click on Configuration under the Onehop tab. 5. Paste your API key in the given box and click on Save. The API key is used to authenticate in order to send SMS.

4 6. Also enter your administrator's mobile number. You will need this for Out of Stock alerts. 2. Choose and Buy your SMS product on Onehop Go to Onehop.co and search for a SMS provider using the filters. 2.1 Search for providers 1. From the dropdown, select Your industry Whether you want one way or two way communication Your use case The number of SMSs you want

5 2. You can filter the results by price, latency and delivery ratio. Based on the volume of SMSs you have chosen and the cost per SMS, you can see the credits you will get. You can use these credits to send texts. 3. Click on the merchant name for details.

6 4. You can also click on the product name for more information. 2.2 Payment 1. If you click on Buy Now, a mini cart will be created.

7 2. Click on Add to cart to add the product to your cart. 3. Click on Checkout to check out.

8 4. Select your payment option and fill in the required details. 5. Click on Place Order.

Then you will be taken to the Confirmation page where you can see your Order Summary. 2.3 Routes Routing Configuration gives you the power to create custom routes which are associated with different providers and lets you use them for different campaigns How to create a route 1. Under Account, Click on Routing Configuration to set your routes.

10 2. Enter a route and select the product you want to associate it with, from the dropdown. The country will appear automatically. 3. Click on Add Route.

11 2.3.2 How to switch your provider using routes You can switch your provider on a click using routes. 1. Select the row where the route appears and click on the edit icon. 2. Choose the product you want from the product dropdown, to change it to the one you want to associate with your route.

12 3. Click on the save icon to save the change. 2.4 Purchase History From Account, Go to Purchase History to see your buys. Click on any one to download/ the invoice.

13 2.6 Product Inventory Once you buy a product, it will appear in Product Inventory. There is a Configure tab for each product you have bought there. Users of Onehop on Magento don t need to fill in the Delivery Report URL and Incoming URL fields. Remember to add more credits if you re running low, otherwise your texts may not be delivered. You can add credits to your product here.

14 3. Create a SMS template Go back to your Magento backoffice. Now you will see new items in your Onehop tab dropdown SMS Automation, Send SMS and Manage SMS templates. SMS templates will make it easy and convenient for you to send texts to customers. You won t need to type the same message again to send to multiple clients. You can use placeholders, where fields like the customer name will be dynamically picked, to personalize your text. You can create templates for Order Confirmation, Shipping confirmation, Delivery confirmation, Out of stock, Order Close, etc. You can create as many templates as you like. These will help you automate SMSs on processes like ordering, which we will talk about in the next section. 1. Click on Manage Templates. 2. Click on Add template. 3. Give your template a name that identifies it, so it s easy for you to locate when you need it. 4. Choose the Placeholder from the dropdown whether you need to send it to a customer, or is it order or product related. 5. The relevant fields will be in the next dropdown so pick whether you want to use the customer s first name or last name if you ve chosen Customer in the first dropdown. You can then change your choice in the first dropdown to Order for instance, and then pick the Order ID etc one by one from the second dropdown.

15 6. In the template body, compose your text. Click on Insert when you want to address the customer, for instance. You can insert more than one dynamic field in your text. Just select the field you want from the drop down and insert it where you want. 7. Click on Save Template. 8. Your template will now appear in the list of templates. 4. Send SMS 1. Click on Send SMS from the Onehop dropdown. You can only send one SMS at a time. 2. Fill in the mobile number of the customer you want to text.

16 3. Fill in the Sender Id so that the customer can associate it with you. 4. Pick the route of the country you want to text in. 5. Select the template you want from the dropdown and the message body will be automatically filled. You can add more text here if you like. 6. Finally, click on Send SMS. 7. You will see a confirmation message on your screen that the SMS has been sent successfully. 5. SMS Automation You can make use of automation to get the system to send an SMS instead of you having to do the work. These texts would be triggered during a process flow within Magento and so there would be no need for you to step in. The use cases on which you can automate SMSs are Order confirmation Shipping confirmation

17 Order completion Refund processed alert Out of stock alert 1. Click on SMS Automation in the Onehop dropdown. 5.1 Order Confirmation SMS Any buyer would appreciate an immediate text notification confirming their order. 1. Click on the Activate Feature checkbox. 2. Select the appropriate template from the ones you created earlier. 3. Select the label according to the country of the recipient. 4. Enter your Sender ID. 5. Click on Save. You will get a confirmation message on your screen when you have successfully saved the rule set. The place order trigger is on the customer portal.

18 5.2 Shipment Confirmation SMS Similarly, you can activate the shipping confirmation feature, once you you or your Admin update an order status to shipped in the system. Scroll down from Order Confirmation. From the Admin portal, when you go to the Sales tab, select Order, then View and finally Submit Shipment, this text will be triggered.

19 5.3 Order Completion SMS Send Order Completion notification to Buyer when you submit the invoice. You can trigger a text on clicking Submit Invoice which changes the order status to Complete. The steps are similar to the ones above, for the Shipment Confirmation SMS. Scroll down from Shipment Confirmation. From the Admin portal, when you go to the Sales tab, select the order, view it, click on invoice and finally submit the invoice, this text is sent.

20 5.4 Refund Processed Alert Send Refund Processed notifications to Customer when you create a Credit Memo. You can set up a text to go when you click on Refund Offline. This will tell the customer the order has been refunded. Scroll down from Order Completion SMS. The steps are similar to the ones above, for the Shipment Confirmation SMS. This text is triggered when you go to the Sales tab in your Admin portal, select Order, click on View, then Credit Memo and finally Refund Offline.

21 5.5 Out of Stock Alert These alerts are meant for your Admin, so that they can receive a low stock warning and can restock accordingly. This ensures that you don t lose out on sales. The Out of Stock SMS will be sent to your Admin when the product quantity is less than or equal to the defined threshold quantity. Scroll down from Refund Processed. The steps are similar to the ones above, for the Shipment Confirmation SMS. Go to the Catalog tab on the Admin portal and select Manage Products. Choose the product you want and click on Inventory. Fill in the Notify for Quantity below field to set your threshold quantity. When customers order this product and the quantity reaches the threshold level, your Admin will get an alert.
