Required registration, where noted, begins September 8. Early Literacy Storytimes After School Programs Tween Events Teen Events Family Nights introduces: 1000 Books Before Kindergarten an early literacy program for birth to not yet enrolled in Kindergarten. Stop by the library to sign-up and receive your folder and log sheet. If your child is read 3 books a day they will have heard 1000 books in one year, earned prizes and have a wonderful jump start on success in school! September Books Before Kindergarten Kick-Off and Ice Cream Party in the Community Room. 7:00-7:45 p.m. Programs, events and classes may be photographed or videotaped for library promotional purposes. Please notify library staff if you prefer not to be photographed. Hours: Monday - Thursday 9 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. Friday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Sunday 1:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m.

2 Early Literacy Programs Children with an adult should meet in front of the Youth Services desk five minutes before the beginning of each program. Wonderful Ones A 20-minute introduction to picture books featuring music and rhymes for 1 year olds, accompanied by an adult. Thursdays 10:00 a.m. September 18 - December 11 No programs October 30 and November 27 Tales for Tots A 20 minute program for 2 year olds featuring music, flannel board participation fun and books, accompanied by an adult. Registration is required. Fridays 9:30, 10:30 and 11:15 a.m. September 19 - December 12 No program November 28 Preschool Storytime A 40 minute program for children ages 3-5. An accompanying adult must remain on the library premises and is encouraged to participate. Tuesday 10 a.m. September 16 - December 9 Wednesday 10 a.m. September 17 December 10 No Preschool Storytime program October 29 and November 11, 25, and 26 6 by 6 Early Literacy Enrichment Program For parents (caregivers) and children Birth to age 6 Following Wednesday Preschool Storytime.

Registration is limited to one of theses identical programs per child.
