1 PANTHER CHEERLEADER TRYOUT PACKET Welcome ALL Cheerleader Candidates. We are excited that you are interested in being a part of the cheer program at Parish. Please read through the tryout packet and constitution carefully to ensure that both you and your parents have all necessary information for a successful cheer tryout. 3 Financial Obligations: ALL The cost of camp is $ Camp Clothes / Practice Wear is $ Hair Bows, Briefs, and Body Liner is $50.00 TOTAL $ Payment due at fitting April 27 th IF NEED TO ORDER WHITE UNIFORM BLUE PULLOVER JACKET add $ Payment due at Fitting April 27 th add $85.00 Payment due in AUGUST TOTAL excluding new white uniform $ TOTAL for cheerleaders purchasing new white uniform is $ *Every cheerleader will be required to have a new pair of INFINITY cheer shoes by cheer camp. We will have a Teamleader rep at fittings for cheerleaders to order from but you are not required to order through Teamleader. The cost of shoes is not included in the above pricing.

4 Tryouts Clinic Information: Tryouts will be held April 21 st at the Midway Campus gym and judged by three outside judges. Tryouts will start promptly at 4:00 and go until finished. Team placements will be posted following tryouts as well an to each cheerleader candidate. Tryout Clinics: April 18 th Dance April 19 th Cheer and Chant April 20 th Review and Mock Tryout April 21 st Tryout The Chant and Dance will be performed in groups of 3-4 and the cheer will be performed individually. Tryout Process: 1. Candidate will spirit in one at a time. During this entrance you will do your tumbling. 2. Each candidate will do 3 connected jumps; one must be a toe touch. 3. CHEER 4. CHANT 5. DANCE 6. Stay in gym until dismissed by judges. 7. Once you have returned to holding area you will not be dismissed until you have been instructed in case there are any callbacks. Tryout Attire: SOLID RED shorts with SOLID WHITE t-shirt. White socks with white tennis shoes. Hair pulled back if you choose to wear a bow it must be solid white or solid royal blue. No jewelry. PLEASE no cheer writing or cheer symbols on any of the attire. ** Tryouts and clinic will be closed to the public. No friends or family will be allowed to enter the gym or holding area at any time.
