2 Welcome Festooned with colourful flower boxes, this elegant granite town house is situated in the heart of St Peter Port, Guernsey s picturesque capital. Best Western Moores Central Hotel was once the town home of the De Saumarez s, one of Guernsey s oldest families. The home first became a hotel in 1896 when it was known as Broughtons Queens Hotel. In 1902 it gained its current name when a Mr Moore took over as licensee. The hotel was acquired in 1956 by Mr and Mrs Jack Parker, together with their daughter and son-in-law. Sheila and Andre Sendlhofer. More than half a century later and with many improvements along the way, it is still owned by the same family, now in its 3 rd generation, Karel Harris at the helm. 3 Accommodation Bedrooms There are 46 comfortable ensuite rooms all with flat screen T.V. s with teletext, hair dryer, radio alarm clock, trouser press, telephone and beverage tray. The majority of rooms have baths with overhead showers, however some rooms have walk in showers. The larger A Class rooms also have small refrigerators and are air conditioned. Most rooms are double or twin bedded, but a few family and single rooms are also available. Complimentary wi-fi is available throughout the hotel, and all rooms are served by a lift. Suites If you are celebrating a special occasion, why not pamper yourselves with a stay in one of the three luxury suites, the Bailiwick, Sarnia or Saumarez Suite. Individually furnished and decorated to the highest standard, all the suites have king sized double beds with sumptuous ensuite bathrooms including walk-in showers, bidet and spa baths. The separate sitting rooms are equipped with writing desk, t.v., DVD player, IPod dock and refrigerator.

4 Restaurants Conservatory Restaurant The attractive Conservatory Restaurant enjoys a very good reputation for fine food. At breakfast time there is a mouth-watering buffet to choose from as well as a traditional cooked English Breakfast. Each evening the varied dinner menu always provides a vegetarian option, and the a la carte menu featuring local seafood offers even more choice. To compliment your meal enjoy one of the choice wines from our carefully selected list. Patisserie Our Austrian Patisserie is a must for anyone with a sweet tooth serving the finest selection of gateaux as well as delicious and healthy meals throughout the day. During the summer months the Patisserie s menu is also served on the flower filled terrace.

5 The Bars You can easily while away an hour or more browsing through the shelves of books in the Library Bar. The Carvery serves traditional dishes including two roasts, and an excellent selection of fresh fish. The new Rendezvous Bar is a stylish place to enjoy an aperitif or glass of champagne, and meet with some local characters. Meeting Rooms There are two meeting rooms which are ideal for board room meetings, training seminars or display rooms. Equipment such as screens, flipchart, OHP or data projectors, laptop or t.v. and video may be arranged and refreshments are available throughout the day. The Conservatory restaurant seating 70 guests, is also available for private lunches and presentations and is equipped with pa system, wi-fi and lcd screens.

6 Unwind Unwind in the Sanctuary, the health suite provides a jacuzzi, sauna and solarium. There is also a fitness room equipped with aerobic equipment including exercise bikes, treadmill and step machine.

7 Places to Visit You will find Best Western Moores Central Hotel an ideal base for both business and pleasure, with banks, shops and offices close at hand. A few minutes stroll brings you on to the sea front with its picturesque marinas. The various ferries depart from here to the smaller islands, Jersey and St. Malo. Although the hotel does not have a private car park, public parking is available close by and the bus terminus is also near. If you enjoy exploring on foot, St. Peter Port offers plenty of pleasant surprises with its narrow lanes and steep steps leading to spectacular views of the harbour.
