15 Two Forum meetings per year: 2014: March, Birmingham (jointly with the Environment Forum), focus on Sustainable mobility for cleaner air, less noise, less CO2 2-3 October, Venice, focus on urban freights logistics

MOBILITY FORUM CONTRIBUTIONS IN 2014 EU policy activities: - Urban Mobility Package -Clean Power for Transport Package and development of standards for clean fuels infrastructure -Implementation of the TEN-T framework and CEF-funded projects -Draft interpretative guidelines on Regulation on public passenger transport by rail and by road (4 th Railway Package) -Implementation of Smart Cities strategy and Smart Cities project calls -Horizon 2020 calls for smart, green and integrated transport -Weights and dimensions Directive for Heavy Goods Vehicles -EU air quality review -General follow-up on White Paper on Transport -Internalisation of external costs in all modes of transport -Urban ITS strategies -European Accessibility Act

18 Mobility projects and campaigning: European Mobility Week (each year from 16 to 22 September) Do the Right Mix: DG MOVE Campaign on Sustainable Urban Mobility (January 2012 to January 2015) ADVANCE project: development of auditing and labeling schemes for SUMPs (until June 2014) ENDURANCE project: assisting cities in developing and implementing SUMPs by networking and mutual learning (June 2013-June 2016) CIVITAS VANGUARD: supporting CIVITAS Plus demonstration cities and disseminating results (until July 2014) TIDE project: supporting transferability of transport innovation in cities (October 2012 to September 2015) 3IBS project: continuation of Bus Systems of The Future (October 2012 to September 2015) OPTICITIES project: Optimisation of urban transport networks using ITS and public/private partnerships (November 2013 to October 2016)

THE WORKING GROUP BARRIER-FREE CITY FOR ALL AND THE MOBILITY FORUM One of the most active Working Groups in the Forum Meets once per year alongside the Forum Horizontal theme: mainstreamed throughout our network and also at EU level Question: which support from the EUROCITIES Brussels office would you find useful, and how would you imagine a closer cooperation / integration with the Mobility Forum in the future?
