Then civilizations began to develop in different parts of the world. Early humans and their migration Neolithic Revolution Foundations of Civilization Early Civilizations Fertile Crescent Describe what early humans were like and explain how and why they migrated to different regions. Identify what the Neolithic Revolution was and explain its importance on development of the world. Know what the characteristics of a civilization are and be able to compare and contrast civilizations. Identify early civilizations and differentiate between them. 2 Nile Civilizations Highly Developed civilizations developed along the Nile River in Africa. These civilizations became very powerful and influential to the surrounding area. Nile River Egyptian Civilization Nubian Civilization Understand why the Nile River was crucial to development of civilizations. Identify characteristics of Egyptian civilization, including: Pyramids, religion, customs ect Understand how Nubian/Kush culture developed, then compare and contrast that to Egyptian.
