6 Application Notes: APEX MR16 LED Spotlight (the spotlight) is not only to replace traditional halogen MR16 spotlight but to develop as a humanized and environmental friendly product. We utilize optical, electronic and thermal technology to develop high power LED lighting devices. The spotlight is completely compatible with traditional MR16 halogen spotlight. In order to use easily, we would suggest some accessories: 1. Electronic Transformer 220V-240V* (AC input: 220V ~ 240V, 50/60 Hz, AC output: 12V) *The Electronic Transformer must be an isolated electronic transformer. Important Notice: The electronic transformer of the spotlight must be an isolated electronic transformer. 1. The input voltage of the spotlight is 12V AC/DC, please make sure the spotlight is connected to the rated voltage before use. 2. Ensure the output power of the electronic transformer is sufficient to drive the total number of spotlights that is connected. 3. The temperature of housing of the spotlight may exceed 45 C when operating, do not touch the surface of the spotlight immediately after using. 4. The lifetime of the spotlight is sensitive to ambient temperature. In order to has a longer lifetime, please ensure the working environment has a good ventilation, and the surrounding temperature is not too high. 5. To ensure safely usage, please follow the instruction and notice when using the spotlight. If the spotlight has a strobing effect, that means the electronic transformer is out of order, please replace the transformer to avoid damaging the product. 7.
