3 INTRODUCTION Welcome at the new cycling venue of KWC Kampen It s a short sentence to start with, but it took a lot of time and energy to realise a venue like this. More than 13 years ago, it began with a question from the municipality of Kampen if KWC was willing to move. This was for KWC the perfect moment to say a resounding yes on that. More than 13 years ago, KWC also organized an EC round and we came to the conclusion that the riders number grew in this kind of competition, which was very nice in itself for the Euro Matches, but also provide concerns regarding how we should organize this on the old location with too little space. With the question do you want to move, direct plans were made and wish lists were submitted to the board. KWC saw the opportunity to get more out of this movement by performing a lot of work by ourselves so we could realise all the things on the wish lists. During the past year a lot of work has been done by volunteers to make this happen. KWC is proud that so many volunteers have signed up for all types of work. The experience previously gained by organizing Indoor Championship rounds in Zwolle, we want to use it for this European Championship rounds in Kampen and expand this to organize European Championship rounds in the Netherlands in the near future. 7 RACE INFORMATION All registrations & payments for riders must be made through your own national BMX federation. This ensures that registrations & payments are coordinated. CATEGORIES Championship categorie Challenge categorie Entries have to be ed by your national federation to the following adress The national federation can transfer the entrance fees to the following bank account number: Fietscrossvereniging KWC KAMPEN IBAN: NL73 SNSB We ask the Chefs d Equipe to bring a bank statement (ask your federation), showing when the payment was made by bank transfer, when they pick up the riders packages in the Welcome Center. This to avoid any problems REGISTER Chef d Equipes can get their rider packs in the small building behind our clubhouse. Signs will show the way. Riders have to register with their own chef d equipe. There they will get their wristbands for entering the track. Registration fees: Challenge classes per entry Cruiser classes per entry Junior classes per entry Elite classes per entry Elite Women 19+ / Elite Men 19+ Boys 7 yr, 8 yr, 9 yr, 10 yr, 11/12 yr, 13/14 yr, 15/16 yr (minimum age 7 years old - combined if less than 5 riders), Men 17/24, Men 25+ Cruiser Men 17/29, 30/39, 40/44, 45+ Combined classes Men 17/24, 25+ Junior Women / Junior Men Girls 7 yr, 8 yr 9 yr, 10 yr 11/12 yr, 13/14 yr, ( 17 & 18 years old) 15/16 yr (minimum age 7 years old - combined if less than 5 riders), Women 17+, Cruiser Women 17 + (1 combined classes) Combined classes Women 17+ NUMBERPLATES AND SIDE-PLATES The organisation will NOT provide numberplates and lateral plates. Riders have to bring their own and apply them according the rules TROPHIES AND PRIZE MONEY Challenge and Cruisers All 8 finalists will receive a trophy. Numbers 1 up to 3 will receive their trophy on the podium directly after the finals. Numbers 4 up to 8 can collect their trophy directly after the final near the finish line. Championship category Prize money will be awarded according to the schedule on the next page.

8 RACE INFORMATION RANK ELITE MEN ELITE WOMEN JUNIOR MEN JUNIOR WOMEN Numbers 1 until 3 will be rewarded on the podium directly after the finals. All finalists can collect their prize money near the finish line by showing their UCI license. RULES The UEC BMX European Cup 2016 is open to any rider from any country with a national license, in compliance with the UCI regulations. There is no limit on the number of riders from one country that can be registered. The race will be run under the UEC 2016 regulations. Championship riders can score UCI points for their country ranking. Since Kampen has both an 8m and a 5m starting ramp, the Championship Classes (junior men, women and elite men, women) will start on the 8m ramp (Bensink starting gate). This may change depending on the weather, in consultation with the riders, the UCI PCP and the organizers. The Challenge Classes and the cruisers will start on the 5m hill (Bensink starting gate). PLEASE BEWARE: If there are more than 256 riders in a category, they will only ride 2 Moto s instead of 3. All other categories will ride 3 heats. 11 TEAM AREA Each team (whether UEC-registered or not) that wants team places in the Team area for the UEC European BMX League Rounds 3 & 4 MUST book a team place via: teamarea@kwc-kampen.nl stating the team name, are you UEC registered, address, the responsible person, arrival date and the number of places you want. The price for a team place for UEC-registered teams is 150,- (6x3m) and non-registered teams is 200,- (6x3m). UEC registration will be checked by the information provided by the UEC. Hours of entrance for team vehicles into the Team Area are as follows: Thursday 28th april 9:00-18:00 Friday 29th april 8:00 11:00 and after the Championship round 3 Finals (approx.21:00) Saturday 30th april 7:00-8:00 The UEC-registered teams are closest to the track. Team tents are only permitted at the team area. There is one parking spot per team tent available on the parking area near the team area. Every UEC registered team has received before round 1 & 2 at Zolder a UEC pass for the whole 2016 (responsibility of the UEC). In Kampen every UEC registered team will receive 2 entry bracelets. The NON UEC registered teams will also receive 2 entry bracelets, but they have no access to the Team Managers Zone. Every national team gets entrance bracelets. If you want to book a teamarea spot please contact the organization by sending an to teamarea@kwc-kampen.nl. stating the teamname, are you UEC registred, address, the responsible person and the number of places you want. You ll receive an invoice with confirmation number and payment details. Book and pay before the 22nd of April 2016 or no space guaranteed.

The shopping area is set up to lead visitors past all the shops. In other words: maximum exposure! Costs are 250,- per 6x15m spot for the whole weekend (power included).
