Cambridge Latin Course book 1 Week 2 Stage 1: nominative singular To be able to translate sentences with a nominative noun+verb. Weeks 3-5 Weeks 6-10 Stages 2-3: nominative and accusative singular Stages 4-6 : verb endings (present, imperfect and perfect tenses) To know that Latin nouns change their endings depending on their job in a sentence. To know the meanings of the words nominative and accusative. To understand what is meant by a declension. To be able to tell what declension a noun is in. To be able to recognise nominative and accusative words. To be able to translate the nominative and accusative into English. To know that Latin verbs change endings to show who is doing the action.

Weeks Stage 19: hic and ille To know that hic and ille are pointing words which belong with the noun after them. CLC2 To know that hic and ille change to agree with the noun after them. To be able to translate hic and ille
