For example, when moths and mosquitoes come across a smell they don t like, they fly somewhere else. When we constantly deny cockroaches, mites, fleas or nits somewhere to hide, they will go more to their liking. But when pests have found their way into the home they need to be treated as soon as possible with natural products which do not harm our own health. 4 BIOLOGICAL INSECT PROTECTION Insect Protection Which is Gentle on the Health ARIES offers a range of effective insect treatments which work completely naturally. You can treat insect problems in the home in one of three ways: Capture and Identification: for moths and cockroaches using adhesive traps which are treated with specialised baits. Treatment: for all kinds of pests. Natural, biodegradable insecticides whose active ingredients are specially aimed at individual creatures; e.g. to treat food moths, specially bred grubs are used which disrupt the moths reproductive cycle, acting as natural predators. Prevention and Avoidance: for moths and mosquitoes, using oils and emulsions made from scent-producing plants, specially chosen for their insect-repelling properties.

The pheromone bait (sexual scent of the femal moths) attracts the males. They are then trapped on the sticky surface of the strip and the moth population is constanly reduced.
