Dinner, movie, and breakfast on board. Day 2: MADRID CITY TOUR Arrival and transfer to your deluxe centrally located hotel. Afternoon city tour of Madrid. Start your adventure at Madrid s crown jewel, Palacio Real de Madrid, the royal palace and the adjacent Sabatini Gardens. Madrid s oldest district includes the popular landmarks of Plaza Mayor, Gran Vía and Plaza Cibeles. Tapas Dinner in a local typical restaurant with wine, refreshments, or bottled water. Overnight in Madrid WESTIN PALACE HOTEL, MADRID, SPAIN This luxury hotel is located in the heart of Madrid, within the Art Triangle. The Parliament is across the road, and the Royal Palace and Opera House within walking distance. The Westin Palace offers elegant facilities only 1,000 feet from the Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofia Museums. The hotel is famous for its beautiful stained-glass

3 dome. Here a fantastic buffet breakfast with music is served. Rooms at the Palace are elegant and modern. They have the award-winning Westin Heavenly Bed and Heavenly Bath. Overnight in Madrid Day 4: MADRID-LEON Buffet Breakfast and transfer to the railway station for your train ride to Leon using the AVE High-Speed train. Welcome by your Tour Escort upon arrival and transfer to your Parador. Dinner with wine, refreshments, or bottled water. Overnight in Leon. PARADOR DE LEON (HOSTAL DE SAN MARCOS) In the impressive 16th-century San Marcos Monastery, the Parador de León features antique furnishings and tapestries. The rooms include free Wi-Fi and a balcony. The suites at Parador León are in the original building. All other accommodations can be found in the more recently constructed annex. Guests can enjoy traditional local cuisine at the hotel s restaurant, decorated with checked floors and authentic fabrics. There is a range of regional wines available and a bar. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the center of León, with its cathedral and the Palacio de los Guzmanes.

Day 6: LEON-LERMA (Castille & Leon) Buffet Breakfast and departure for Castille on your escorted deluxe motor coach. Arrival in Lerma and check into your Parador. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner with wine, refreshments, or bottled water at your hotel. Overnight in Lerma. PARADOR DE LERMA, (CASTILLE & LEON) Parador de Lerma is a striking 17th-century palace converted into a unique hotel. It has a popular restaurant with a wide range of traditional regional dishes with modern touches. Free Wi-Fi is provided. The Parador de Lerma dominates the charming town of Lerma. Once used by King Felipe III, it has a large central courtyard. The spacious bedrooms in the Parador de Lerma are decorated in a classical style. They have antique furniture and terracotta tiles on the floor. They all have TVs and air conditioning. Set in an original part of the building, the Parador de Lerma s restaurant has a grand vaulted ceiling and paintings on the walls. The small town of Lerma has kept many buildings from the 16th century. It has a number of good restaurants. Lerma is also ideal for visiting the city of Burgos, which is just 18.6 miles away. Covarrubias and Santo Domingo del Silos are also both nearby. Day 7: LERMA CITY TOUR OF BURGOS Buffet Breakfast and departure to visit the city of Burgos with its famous Cathedral. Return to your Parador in the late afternoon for dinner with wine and overnight. Day 8: BURGOS-AVILA Buffet Breakfast and departure for Avila. Check into your Parador and afternoon at leisure to explore the city on your own. Dinner with wine, refreshments, or bottled water. Overnight in Avila.

5 PARADOR DE ÁVILA Located in the historic quarter of the charming town, this 16th-century Palace has been beautifully renovated and stands within pretty gardens. Enjoy meals in the fabulous restaurant. Walk up to the entrance through the enchanting maze and admire the impressive façade of the Parador de Ávila. As you enter, you will feel the grandeur of the palace with the high ceilings, attractive tiling on the granite floor, and the elegant decor. Take a stroll through the Parador Ávila s special gardens which contain archaeological remains. Enjoy a morning coffee in the pleasant inner courtyard which has a glass ceiling and a charming cafe-bar. Dine in the magnificent restaurant of the Parador de Ávila. Here, you can enjoy excellently prepared traditional dishes accompanied by views over the gardens and the wonderful city walls of this magical city. Day 9: AVILA CITY TOUR Buffet Breakfast.
