12 Accessnettet Accessnettet består i hovedsagen af kobberlinjer fra fordeler til kundetilslutning. Tjenester på accessnettet er Bit-Stream- Access til ADSL-bredbånd, PSTN/ISDN samtrafik, lejelinjer mm. Længden på kobber-linjen fra fordeler til kunde er afgørende for hvor høj hastighed fås på ADSL-bredbåndsforbindelsen.
