Itinerary: MONDAY AM Fly to San Cristobal Island Transfer to the airport in time for the flight to San Cristobal Island. PM Lobería, San Critobal Island The Loberia is 30 minutes walk and 10 minutes in bus to the southwest of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno on the Island of San Cristobal. The vegetation along the road calls your attention with its particular colors and variety of plants rarely seen in the world. The trail will take you to a beach full of black lava where the sea beats the coast with force. Its inhabitants are mostly sea lions that use this site for mating and swimming. Here you can also see the biggest species of marine iguana on the Islands. TUESDAY AM South Plaza Island The island was formed by uplift due to faulting. A dry landing on a jetty brings you to an opuntia cactus forest where there are many land iguanas. A one kilometer trail circuit leads visitors through sea lion colonies and along a cliff top walk where swallow tailed gulls and other species nest. The 25 meter high cliffs are a superb vantage point for watching various seabirds in flight. Red billed tropicbirds, frigate birds, pelicans, Aububon s shearwaters and others are always seen. Snorkeling with the sea lions is a possibility and out to sea you may glimpse a manta ray flying. PM Black Turtle Cove, Santa Cruz Island A red mangrove lagoon on Santa Cruz is a nursery for many sharks and rays. It is also a great location to observe mating sea turtles, after the entire site takes its name for the black sea turtles that mate in these calm waters. There are large groups of resting white tip reef sharks, schools of golden rays and spotted eagle rays, and a few juvenile scalloped hammerhead sharks and black tip sharks. The water is nearly mirror calm, and you often use paddles instead of the loud panga engines to move around the area.

3 WEDNESDAY AM Espumilla Beach, Santiago Island Espumilla Beach is one of the most idyllic locations in the Galapagos Islands, located on the northern coast of Santiago Island, James Bay. It was a place of business saline during the 50's. This beautiful silver is a great place for swimming and snorkeling. On the outskirts of Playa Espumilla can see extraordinary lava formations. Espumilla Beach is where marine iguanas and sally light foot crabs reside. The crabs attract the hunting herons, performing the dance of predator and prey. PM Egas Port, Santiago Island Egas Point, on the west side of Santiago, provides varied terrain for rest. The island's black sandy beach serves as a perfect spot from which to snorkel or to start a rousing game of soccer. Lava formations along the coast that have been eroded to form pools, caves, and inlets make the perfect habitat for interesting inter tidal organisms like scuttling Sally Lightfoot crabs, algae munching marine iguanas, and cuddling fur seals. A main attraction for geology buffs (not people with small bladders) is Darwin s toilet, a rock formation that causes a vertical chute of water to rise when the waves collide with the rock face. THURSDAY AM Charles Darwin Station, Santa Cruz Island The Darwin Station is the working Galapagos based branch of the international, non profit Charles Darwin Foundation. Established in 1959, the Darwin Station works closely with the Galapagos National Park Service protecting the Galapagos Islands and Galapagos Marine Reserve. Here, you will learn more about natural history, issues concerning the islands, and see the Tortoise breeding and rearing project at work. PM Return to mainland Ecuador Then transfer to Baltra Airport in time to take your flight back. Arrive in and transfer to your hotel. INCLUSIONS: Cabin accommodation, all meals while onboard (starting with lunch on the first day of the cruise and ending with breakfast on the last day of the cruise), snorkeling equipment, wetsuits, water, one soft drink per meal, coffee & tea.

4 EXCLUSIONS: Round trip Galapagos airfare (must be bought through us), Galapagos National Park Fee, Galapagos Ingala Card, drinks onboard, transfers from hotel to airport before or after Galapagos flight, gratuities to guides and crew, purchases onboard, travel insurance. TERMS & CONDITIONS Reservations will not be considered firm until a deposit has cleared our account. All reservations are subject to cancellation if payments are not received by the due date. Once a cabin has been confirmed, the number of passengers cannot be reduced, and the full amount of the original booking will be charged. Cancellation policy: Cancellations received in writing up until 180 days prior to departure will be refunded in full except for a $ per person service charge days (90 for high season) prior to departure, the cancellation penalty is the full deposit. 59 day (89 day for high season) of departure cancellation incurs full penalty. Payment is due in full at 60 (90 days for high season) days at which time a cancellation would incur full penalties. Travel Insurance: We highly recommend that passengers purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy to protect themselves from any potential loss before and during your trip. Insurance is optional and highly recommended to protect against losses due to trip cancellation and interruption, travel and baggage delay, emergency assistance, medical expenses and evacuation. For those passengers who choose not to purchase an insurance policy to protect them from potential losses to their travel investment, ANDESCONEXION will not be responsible for any financial disappointment caused by reasons beyond our control and no refunds or partial refunds will be given for late cancellations or no shows due to any reason. We cannot accept any share requests on cruises that fall over the holidays. The terms for deposits and cancellation during high season weeks are different from the rest of the year. Child discounts: Children age 12 years and younger at the time of the cruise are entitled to a 30% discount off the cruise rate and are also entitled to 50% discount off the airfare and Galapagos National Park Fee with photocopy of the child s passport showing date of birth. Restrictions on child discounts: We allow only one child discount to be given per every adult fare paid with a limit of two per family. ANDESCONEXION may limit the total number of child discounts permitted on any one departure. Children under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult. No child discounts are permitted on high season cruises. Wet suits: Available for passengers to use during the cruise at no additional charge on a first come first serve basis. Snorkeling equipment: Masks, fins and snorkels in average sizes are available on board free of charge for use during the cruise. There is no guarantee there will be all equipment available in your size and therefore passengers may prefer to bring their own equipment (especially a mask and snorkel). Purchases on board: Every passenger has an open tab for purchases onboard, which is to be paid the last day of the cruise. We accept cash (US Dollars) only.
