Hardware Options Locking cam handles, access controlled locks, and keeper are of cast white bronze with a US25D finish. 4-bar hinges are fabricated of stainless steel meeting AAMA requirements. Butt hinges are made of extruded aluminum 6063-T6 alloy with stainless steel pins. 6 Architectural Projected & Casement Window Vent Size Charts These charts are based upon 1 insulated glass consisting of ¼ glass, ½ air spacer, ¼ glass. These charts assume that opening conditions are such that proper anchorage can be achieved by a qualified installer. Individual job criteria such as other glazing materials, specified wind loads, and specific operating hardware may enhance or restrict these charts. Project In/Out Vents Casement with Butt Hinges and Manual Locks Casement with 4-Bar Arms Casement with Butt Hinges and Roto Operator General Notes: Butt hinges must be anchored to the opening at all hinge points. Butt hinges at meeting rails are not warranted. Casement sash width should be limited to 66% of the sash height to insure sash sag does not develop over the life of the window. Casement sash exceeding 42 in height using 4-bar arms should be used with a snubber at center of hinge side and should not be hinged at meeting rails. 08/2009 Page 4
