Help the bride into her gown. Straighten and maintain the veil and train. Hold the bride s bouquet during the ceremony. Keep the groom s wedding band until the bride calls for it. Toast the couple. Tell parents when the couple is ready to leave the reception. Help the bride change out of her gown. Take care of the bridal gown and accessories once the bride has changed. Give them to the mother of the bride or deliver them to the bride s home.

2 Flower Girl s Checklist TO DO In the ceremony, the flower girls precede the bride down the aisle scattering flower petals in her path. Follow behind the couple after the service. Join the receiving line or greet guests. Look as cute and adorable as possible!!

3 Groomsman s Checklist TO DO Be measured for tuxedo well in advanced of wedding date. Attend bachelor party. Know the guest list and who should sit in reserved seats. Escort guests to pews. Escort attendants when bridal party is announced at the reception. Help load the gifts into the bride s parent s car.

Look as cute and adorable as possible!! PARENTS: You should make your child available for the wedding rehearsal as needed. You will also want to sit close to the front so that your child may find you easily if they need to sit with you.

13 Master Checklist 2 WEEKS PRIOR Plan bachelor and bachelorette parties. Prepare seating for reception. Have your bridal consultant give you a copy of the time schedule for your wedding day. Have maid or matron of honor contact attendants about final fittings for bridesmaids gowns, tuxedos, flower girl dresses, etc. Send photo with wedding announcements to the newspaper. Invite your maid or matron of honor as well as the best man to dinner (make sure to invite their significant others as well). Give them their to-do lists and a time schedule. Don t assume they know what you want them to do. Pick-up your wedding rings. Get marriage license. Sign any legal documents. Call any guests who have not yet responded to your invitation. Enjoy greeting out of town guests and attending parties. Confirm reservation schedule for rehearsal dinner/wedding luncheon with restaurant. Meet with wedding consultant for a final detail briefing. Give wedding consultant favors and place cards for reception. Give seating chart to wedding consultant. Give seating chart and time schedule to reception manager. Give wedding consultant envelopes for any payments/tips for vendors to be handed out on the day of the wedding. Check with wedding consultant to make sure that she will carry a wedding day emergency kit with her at all times. Have your wedding consultant tell the caterer to put together a food basket (don t forget some wedding cake) and have it delivered to your getaway car 30 minutes before you leave.

15 Master Checklist DAY OF WEDDING Eat breakfast!! Have your wedding consultant carry some fruits, veggies and crackers with her at all times. If at all possible, make sure that someone else is driving you to your morning appointments. Have addresses and maps prepared. Be sure to have your rings. Be sure to have your marriage license. Be sure your consultant has the wedding day emergency kit, this kit will include mints and water to help stop dry mouth and bad breath! Prior to leaving for the church, everyone should drink orange juice. Have fun! If you have followed this list you will be fine. Try to relax and enjoy!
