3 Timeline logistic establishes supply chain leadership in just over two years Incorporated just over two years ago in the fall of 2010, Timeline Logistic is a young company that quickly made a name for itself in the supply chain industry. With impeccably high standards and a unique approach, the Saskatoonbased hauler outpaced competition from the start. The main thing that accounts for s fast-paced growth is our service and our commitment to safety, says Director of Safety and Compliance and Co-Owner Troy Stimpson. We built this company to transport nuclear material. As such, we built this company to be far superior to our competition and we think we ve attained that goal. Starting Anew Born of circumstance, the company was founded after Stimpson and three others lost their jobs during the economic downturn. Bringing over 100 years of experience to the table between them, the founders were able to mold the company from the ground up. They told us, We ve never seen a company like this before. If we could give you better than a satisfactory score, we would have. is also part of a government program, Customs- Trade Partnership Against Terrorism, developed after 9/11 for importers, exporters, and road transport carriers operating in the US. To meet comparable Canadian standards, the company is in the process of becoming certified with Partners in Protection, FAST (Free and Secure Trade) and CSA (Customs Self-Assessment). In the oil and gas industry, health and safety is number one right now, says Stimpson. The company is working to become Certificate of Recognition certified which will recognize an established health and safety management system. An accurate, transparent system electronically tracks all shipments in real-time. Stimpson says, Our customers know their freight s going to get there safe, it will get there efficiently, and it will get there on time. There is no gray area when it comes to our legality on the road. Demonstrating Continued Leadership Backing its impressive certifications, s track record says it all. We ve been running for two years now and we do not have one logbook violation, says Stimpson. That s unheard of in the trucking industry. Laying the foundation for safe and compliant services will further s goal of becoming more closely involved with the nuclear industry. Aggressive plans for expansion are in place and Stimpson is confident the company is ideally situated to expand in the market. I ve worked in many trucking companies and there are no other companies doing what we do, says Stimpson. We haul freight just like everybody else but the systems and the processes that we have in place are unique, one of a kind, and above and beyond everyone else.
