Entirely manually operated (crank handle). A manual shaft drive using a hand chain is available as an alternative to the crank handle. 3 Original-LUBRATEC Roll Door with Stabilisation Profiles Door system with lateral guide rails and horizontal stabilisation profiles for withstanding higher wind loads. The hanging and profiles are wound up onto the drive shaft located at the top. This door is suitable for daily opening and closing of entries, e.g. for feed tables. Drive systems available include electric shaft drive or tube motors and manual operation. For electric versions a remote control unit is optionally available. 4 Original-LUBRATEC Roller blind front with travelling drive Open front system designed primarily for opening and closing large areas. Conceived for eaves heights of up to 5.00 m. The hanging is wound onto an aluminium grooved tube by an electric drive unit. Bracing is provided for the system by vertically arranged ratchet/tensioning belt units. To increase wind load capacity when the ratchets are open, we recommend the use of our aluminium bracing profiles. Space requirement for the drive unit is significantly lower than for the travelling drive unit version. Conceived for eaves heights up to approx m. Drive system is a tube motor (120 Nm) on the central winder shaft. In addition to storm protection, the hanging is braced with large ratchet/tensioning belt units to the ground. To increase wind stability with open ratchets we recommend the use of our aluminium bracing profiles. No space is required for the drive unit. Dimensions: Height max m, width max. 15 m Use: e.g. calf stalls, barns, straw beds 4

5 Original-LUBRATEC - Roller blind front with tube motor for indoor use Front system with lateral guide rails. Conceived for opening heights of up to 5.00 m. Drive system is a tube motor (120 Nm) on the central winder shaft. The gaps between the hanging and the guide rails are filled by a protective lip, which also serves as an additional splash protection on the drive side. No ratchets and no storm protection are required. No space requirement for drive unit. Dimensions: Height max m, width max. 15 m Use: e.g. milking parlours Original-LUBRATEC - Folding Front An open-front system designed primarily for larger openings, in which horizontal PES belts are stitched to the hanging for withstanding higher wind loads. Rollers on the sides of the hanging run in aluminium guide rails. For sizes up to 10 m width x 5 m height the drive is a tube motor (120 Nm) at the top drive shaft. Larger front sizes are powered by a 120 Nm or 250 Nm electric drive. In addition to storm protection, the hanging is braced with large ratchet/tensioning belt units to the ground. Dimensions: Height max m, width max. 20 m Use: e.g. calf stalls, barns, straw beds and various other storage areas 5

6 Original-LUBRATEC - Sliding Front Open front system for occasional opening and closing of larger areas, particularly where height must be maintained. The system is manually operated by pushing the hangings together. Left or right-hand closing are available. Maximum dimensions: Height 4 m Length 10 m Use: Open fronts to calving stalls, machine or equipment halls Original-LUBRATEC - Stretched versions Textile surfaces are tensioned vertically from top to bottom. These types are usually fitted with weather strips on three sides. The bottom of the textile surface contains a hemstitch into which a 1.5" tube is inserted. Tensioning is achieved by means of ratchet/tensioning belt units. Maximum dimensions: Height 5.00 m Length m 6

7 Original-LUBRATEC - Stretched Gable Covers Textile surfaces are tensioned vertically from top to bottom. These types are usually fitted with weather strips. The bottom of the textile surface contains a hemstitch into which a 1.5" tube is inserted. Tensioning is achieved by means of ratchet/tensioning belt units. With triangular gable covers, the triangular gable, trapezoid gable and polygon gable (symmetrical and asymmetrical) are possible up to a maximum 125 m 2. Larger areas are covered by combining sections Original-LUBRATEC - Side ventilation systems Original-LUBRATEC - roll-up ventilation, top opening (WLO) for opening heights up to 3.20 m WLO with pulleys (1) or with central drive tube/crown wheel gear (2). 1 2 Continuous, stepless upward and downward movement of HaTe tarpaulins wound onto an aluminium grooved tube. Compensation during travel is provided by a mini telescopic articulated coupling between the drive unit and the grooved tube. Drive can be either manual or electric (with/without sensors); maximum height: 3.2 m, maximum length: 100 m. Space required for drive unit, max. 1 m. 7

8 Original-LUBRATEC - roll-up ventilation, bottom opening (WLU) for opening heights up to 4.60 m WLU with travelling drive Continuous upward and downward movement of the HaTe tarpaulins by means of winding onto an aluminium grooved tube. The HaTe tarpaulins in the upper section are horizontally bolted to the building by means of weather strip rails. Travel is conveyed from the ESD (on guide rails) to the winding tube via a mini telescopic articulated coupling. Drive is electric, with/without sensors. Maximum length: 100 m. Space required for drive unit, max. 1 m. A minimum level of ventilation is provided by slightly opening the HaTe tarpaulin in the lower section or with closed tarpaulin by combining the HaTe protective mesh with Original-LUBRATEC wind protection mesh, type 60/60-1, in the lower section. WLU with tube motor Using a tube motor for the drive unit (60 or 120 Nm) offers the advantage that no additional engagement face is required for the drive unit. System length is limited to 30 m. 8

9 Original-LUBRATEC - Roll Up Ventilation Bottom opening, centre winding (WLU-XL) version for heights up to 4.60 m The two HaTe tarpaulins mounted one above the other are moved by means of a travelling drive unit on guide rails. The two tarpaulins are joined via an aluminium tube with two grooves that winds from the centre, thus contributing to the stability of the overall system. Power is transferred to the winder tube from the travelling drive unit via a mini telescopic articulated coupling, which also compensates for path differences during the winding process. Drive - manual (up to max. 50 m) - electric (up to max. 2 x 50 m) - electric with sensors Aluminium profiles prevent the HaTe tarpaulin(s) wandering. Technical limits: maximum height 4.60 m maximum length, side 50 m maximum length, central 100 m (2 x 50 m) Space required for drive unit, max. 1 m. Tripple Plus variant for heights of max m Essential Features The Tripple Plus system offers all ventilation options for extremely large openings. The lower half of the blind is built out of HaTe woven tarpaulin type HaTeplan 8 and the upper half out of Original- LUBRATEC wind protection mesh type 40/40-5. The top/bottom ratio can be adjusted continuously. Winter: Most of the opening is closed using the tarpaulin, while the wind protection mesh on the upper half lets the necessary amount of air into the stall. Spring and autumn: Using mostly wind protection mesh, airflowis increased, yet the animals remain protected against draughts. Summer: The blind rolls up fully to allow fresh, uninterrupted windfor pleasant cooling. Shade and heavy rainfall protection can be added as extra sheltering. Drive - Electric (up to max. 2 x 50 m) - Electric with sensors Wind loads areborneinside by our HaTe protection mesh and outside by aluminium guide tubes. 10 Top and bottom opening, centre winding (WLO/WLU-XL) version with central drive tube; for heights up to 4.6 m The two HaTe tarpaulins mounted one above the other are moved by means of a fixed and travelling drive motor on guide rails (ESD). This allows all possible positions of the HaTe tarpaulins to be achieved. These are joined via an aluminium tube with two grooves that winds from the centre, thus contributing to the stability of the overall system. Power is transferred to the winder tube from the travelling ESD unit via a mini telescopic articulated coupling, which also compensates for path differences during the winding process. Light Ridge SKYTEX Drive - electric (up to max. 2 x 50 m) - electric with sensors Aluminium profiles prevent the HaTe wandering. Technical limits: Technical limits: Maximum height 4.60 m Maximum length, side 50 m Maximum length, central 100 m (2 x 50 m) Space required for drive unit, max. 1 m. tarpaulin(s) Light in and air out for more milk The 4-7m wide opening allows maximum light into livestock buildings, without any warming. A special two layer sheet with an external mesh structure and internal film guarantees extremely high stability and effective light diffusion. Light on the inside and dark on the outside, the ridge blends in with its surroundings. High wind deflectors and large openings ensure constant ventilation. Stable arches offer structural support for even the highest loads. Bright light and fresh air are essential for milk production, and they're free - we just have to let them in! 10
