13 PARALLEL EVENTS Saperi e Sapori in Cattedra (Culinary Arts and Flavors behind the Teacher's Desk) Florence, 26 th February 3 rd March 2012 Saperi e Sapori in Cattedra is an intensive one-week workshop in Florence (Italy) dedicated to students of Hospitality and Tourism Management schools in the frame of Life Beyond Tourism. This fourth edition is being organized with the participation of six countries: Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Romania and Italy. The result of the workshop will be two evening events: The Global Village Party, a six national cold buffet with traditional flavors, that will be offered to the participants of Degree & Profession on the 1 st of March. The Gala Dinner on the 2 nd of March at the Sala d'armi in Palazzo Vecchio, where all students will collaborate in the preparation and serving of the dinner. The dinner is open to the public (the cost per person is 30,00 ) and the takings will be donated to the Professional School "Leila Biagi Dani" Kisoga of Uganda. (Book it at the Secretariat) Modernism in the Caucasus - Tbilisi. Baku. Yerevan. ( , Fine Arts, Theatre, Cinema, Architecture) Florence, 28 th February 1 st March 2012, at Auditorium al Duomo The symposium organized by the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts and the Georgian State Museum of Theatre, Music, Cinema and Choreography in collaboration with several other institutions, wants to concentrate on the topics of fine art, theater, cinema and architecture with sessions lead by international experts. It includes also the exhibition of master pieces from the Collection of the Georgian State Museum of Theatre, Music, Cinema and Choreography (28 th February 1 st March 2012). For the closing will be presented the Modernist movie My grandmother, directed by director K. Mikaberidze (1929). Vivid Arts Network: A Retrospective Florence, 1 st 10 th March 2012, at Auditorium al Duomo Vivid Arts Network: A Retrospective is an international art exhibition directed by Viviana Puello with the participation of 28 artists from 13 countries and from different streams of expression: painting, sculpture, installation, Photography, video and virtual art. The event is created by Vivid Arts Network (New York USA) and in collaboration with Fondazione Romualdo Del Bianco - Life Beyond Tourism and ARTOUR-O il MUST Florence The exhibition is designed to promote intercultural dialogue, contemporary art in Florence and the message for responsible tourism.
