At the Y, we focus on your child as a whole, including top-notch sports and swimming instruction, exploration of the community, and developing life-long friendships. We emphasize seamlessly weaving literacy, math, and science lessons into our curriculum, preventing summer learning loss and making sure our camp kids are ready to return to school in the fall. Above all, we focus on making summer fun! OVERNIGHT CAMPS Two weeks at an amazing overnight camp can change a child s perspective, if not their life. On the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee in Tuftonboro, NH, of Greater Boston s Pleasant Valley Camp for Girls and North Woods Camp for Boys bring children from all over the world together for fun and adventure. With activities like zip lining, kayaking, sports, games and nature hikes, kids jump out of their bunks ready for action every day. FAMILY CAMP Spend an unforgettable week with your loved ones at Sandy Island Family Camp in New Hampshire. Located on 66 acres on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee, Sandy Island offers lakefront cabins, organized family activities, fishing, boating, swimming and so much more! 3 THOMAS M. MENINO DAY CAMPS I am not sure what my son s summer would have been if I had not found Scamper Camp. He has gained confidence in himself and he is more social than he was at the beginning of the summer. Scamper Camp makes life a little easier for him. We will be back next year! SCAMPER CAMP AGES 3-5 Location: Thomas M. Menino Sessions 1-10 HOURS: 7:30 am - 6:00 pm This full-day camping program is for children ages 3-5. Campers explore weekly themes through arts and crafts, literacy, outdoor activities and swimming. Campers also explore an additional array of activities led by special guests. All activities promote age appropriate development, and encourage friendships and fun. Swim lessons take place twice per week. 4 CAMP PONKAPOAG S beautiful wilderness setting features woodlands, open meadows, a quaking bog, ponds and 125 miles of hiking trails. This spectacular camp setting provides the space for our huge list of activities. CAMP PONKAPOAG AGES 6-12 Location: Ponkapoag Outdoor Center, Blue Hills Reservation near Canton, MA Sessions 1-10 HOURS: 7:30 am-6:00 pm at PONKAPOAG Come experience the outdoors in a whole new setting. Transportation available. The following activities are offered daily: ROPES & OUTDOOR CHALLENGES FOR KIDS (ROCK) Cooperative games, trust building initiatives, and ropes course elements utilized in our ROCK program challenge campers to exercise critical thinking skills, respect teammates, and build self-esteem and leadership skills through exciting activities. ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE Gain awareness and appreciation of the great outdoors through hiking, outdoor living skills and science activities. Campers explore a quaking bog, learn about protected species, maintain a vegetable and flower garden and participate in orienteering treasure hunts. AQUATICS Offering both free swim and structured swim lessons, campers enjoy splash time with friends and counselors. Certified lifeguards are always present, and all campers are grouped by ability level. CREATIVE ARTS Drama, music and dance fill our creative arts program, along with craft activities and projects inspired by Mother Nature. SPORTS & GAMES Kids play a wide range of sports and creative, team-oriented games. Fun, skill development, and teamwork are stressed. We were met with warm smiles and greetings every morning I am so happy that I found your camp program. He is looking forward to returning next summer!

6 TO LEARN MORE ABOUT SUMMER CAMPS! REGISTRATION REGISTER ONLINE at ymcaboston.org/camps Online registration is not available for those who receive financial aid. Please register in your local Branch. ENROLLMENT FORMS Once registration is complete, please submit your child s enrollment forms, most recent physical, immunization records, and any other necessary medical documentation. Enrollment and Medical forms are due no later than June 1st. All forms must be completed by that date to secure your child s space at camp. Visit ymcaboston.org/camps for forms or visit your local Welcome Center. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE The serves people of all ages, backgrounds, abilities and incomes and strives to make camp fees affordable for families in need. Pick up a financial assistance application at your Welcome Center. The accepts vouchers. MEMBERSHIP Y membership is a great way to spend quality time with your kids. Visit our Welcome Center or call us to join. Bonus - you ll save on Camp Fees! This camp must comply with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and be licensed by the local board of health. The is an equal opportunity employer and service provider.
