HUNGARIAN MENS AND LADIES OPEN MATCH PLAY CHAMPIONSHIP May Old Lake Golf Club, Tata Organizer: Rules: Date: Venue: Hungarian Golf Federation The Championship will be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf approved by R&A Rules Limited, the General Terms and Conditions of Competition and the Conditions of Ranking List Tournaments of the Hungarian Golf Federation, and in accordance with the Local Rules of the Old Lake Golf Club as approved by the Championship Committee May 2016 (1 practice day and 3 tournament days) Old Lake Golf Club 2890 Tata, Remeteségpuszta Deadline of Entry: Friday, 20 May :00 Entry fee: HUF/ or 110 EUR For those players who do not qualify to the match play after the first round of stroke play, the entry fee minus the first day round green fee (8000 HUF) will be refunded. The entry fee includes: - green fees for the practice day and for the competition days (6 green fees total) - the entry fee and organizational fee - snack packages for 5 times - participation in the gala lunch or dinner (will be announced later) on Sunday. Entry: Registration: Players have to apply online to the tournament through the HGF s website. Players must first register on the website before they can apply to the tournament. After filling the registration form an , sent to the player s address will confirm the successful registration.

3 Only one player is allowed to register with the same address and only one player can apply to the tournament through that address. It is not possible to enter more than one player from the same address. Entry Process: Entry withdrawal: Start of the Competition: Players have to log in with the address and password that was previously registered. If the player has not registered previously, first has to register online! After log in the player must fill in the Entry form which could be find in the Versenyek/AKTUÁLIS VERSENYEK menu, under the name of the current competition. After filling the entry form the player has to finalize the entry by clicking on to the Nevezés elküldése button. The system will than send a confirmation about the successful entry. If the player wish to pay by bank transfer or cash the entry will be suspended until the entry fee is paid. The entry fee must be paid latest to the deadline of the entry. The bank account number of the Hungarian Golf Federation is: OTP Bank Please write the name of the player and the tournament into the communication box. Players may pay the entry fee by cash in the office of the HGF (1146 Budapest, Istvánmezei út 1-3. office no. 406.) from Monday till Friday between When the entry fee has arrived the player receives a confirmation e- mail with the following text: Registration confirmed; Your entry is approved by the Hungarian Golf Federation to the V. Open Match Play Championship. Those players entry that do not pay the entry fee on time will be cancelled. Players may withdraw their entry according to the Point 8 of the General Terms and Conditions of the Competitions of HGF. To withdraw the entry the player has to go to the website and click to the withdrawal button at the current tournament under the Nevezéseim kezelése menu. Afterwards the Federation and the player will receive an e- mail to confirm the successful withdrawal. 1 st day: 08:00 stroke play (shot gun); match play 1 st round (shot gun) 2 nd day: 08:00 match play 2 nd round (shot gun); 14:00 match play 3 rd round (shot gun) 3 rd day: 10:30 match play 4 th round (shot gun) Information about tee times will be available at the club reception from o clock on 26 th of May 2016 or on the website. Form of play: 1 st day: Stroke play on 18 holes (qualifying for the Match play rounds) and Match play 1x18 holes 2 nd day: Match play 2 x 18 holes 3 rd day: Match Play 1 x 18 holes

Decision of Tie: Pace of Play: Score Cards: According to the Point 27 of the General Term and Conditions of Competitions of HGF with the following amendment: In case of a tie after the 18 th hole, the match must be continued with a hole by hole play-off. The sequence of playing the holes during the play-off are the same as during the stipulated round. According to the Point 17 of General Terms and Conditions of Competitions of HGF. After completion of the round, the competitor must return the score card to the Committee as soon as possible at the Scoring Area. Players must ensure that the score card is sign by him/her and by his/her marker before it is returned. No alteration may be made on a score card after the competitor has returned it to the Committee.

5 Eligibility: Claims: All Hungarian and foreign amateur male of female golfers who possess an official card issued by and whose club is an affiliated member of their respective national federation. The number of players is a maximum of 88. If the number of entries exceeds 88, entries of players with the lowest HCPs will be accepted (waiting list depends on the Hcps). After the first round of stroke play the best 16 ladies and 64 men will qualify for the Match Play. Ties will be decided according to the General Conditions of Competitions of HGF. Claims must be indicated in writing within one hour after the completion of the tournament. Clam fee: HUF Award Ceremony: 29 May 2016, after the event declared completed. Program: Practice day (Thursday) 26 May 2016, Tee time reservation is necessary. Only those players are allowed to play the practice round who paid the entry fee in advance and his/her name listed on the start list. 1 st Competition Day (Friday) 8.00 Stroke play with shot gun start on 1x18 holes to determine the draw for the Match Play. Best 16 ladies and 64 men based on the results after the first round will qualify to the Match Play rounds. Players will be divided into groups of 16 according to their stroke play round result. The places in the groups of 16 will be decided by 4 match play rounds. Players in the first group will play for the 1-16 places, players in the second group will play for the places etc match play with shot guns start on 1x18 holes (1 st round) 2 nd Competition Day (Saturday): Match Play 2x 18 holes, Shot Gun Start at 8.00 and (2 nd and 3 rd rounds) 3 rd Competition Day (Sunday): Match Play 1 x 18 holes, Shot Gun Start at (4 th round) Use of Golf Carts: According to the General Terms and Conditions of Competition and the Conditions of Ranking List Tournaments of the HGF: The Hungarian Golf Federation keeps the rights to change the conditions!
