1 MirrorOp Sender for Galaxy smartphones MirrorOp Sender for Galaxy is an application that runs on your Android smartphone and transmits still images, presentations or streaming videos and music to MirrorOp receivers. The functions available is depending on the capability of connected receivers. For example, video streaming may be disabled if the receiver does not have streaming support. Installing MirrorOp Sender for Galaxy from Google Play 1. Connect to the internet and open the Google Play web page. 2. In the search bar, type MirrorOp. In the search result page, look for MirrorOp Sender for Galaxy. 3. Click the <INSTALL> button to download and install the MirrorOp Sender for Galaxy application. 4. Follow the instructions to finish the installation. Connecting your Android smartphone to network Before you can transmit images to the MirrorOp receiver using MirrorOp Sender for Galaxy, you must connect your Android smartphone to the wireless network. 1. Turn on your MirrorOp receiver. If it is a projector, receiver box or Smart TV, power it on and make sure it is connected to the network. If it is a software receiver, launch the receiver application. 2. On your Android smartphone, enable the Wi-Fi feature and connect to the same network as the receiver from the list of available Wi-Fi networks.

2 Opening MirrorOp Sender for Galaxy and Logging into the receiver Once you have installed MirrorOp Sender for Galaxy and connected your smartphone to the same Wi-Fi network as the receiver, you are ready to open MirrorOp Sender for Galaxy and log onto the receiver. 1. Open the MirrorOp Sender for Galaxy application. 2. MirrorOp Sender for Galaxy will search for and list compatible devices. 3. Choose the MirrorOp receiver to use. 4. Enter the Login Code (if necessary). 5. Press <Connect> to continue. Note: You can find the IP Address and Login Code on the receiver s standby screen. 6. Select from Screen, Media or PTG functions to start.

4 Mirroring screen from MirrorOp Sender for Galaxy MirrorOp Sender for Galaxy can mirror the entire screen of your Galaxy phone. 1. Open the MirrorOp Sender for Galaxy app and connect to the MirrorOp receiver. 2. Select the Screen function to mirror screen to MirrorOp receiver. 3. Use the icons on the MirrorOp Sender for Galaxy screen (shown below) to control the streaming. 5 Streaming Media Files from MirrorOp Sender for Galaxy MirrorOp Sender for Galaxy can stream videos, photo or music files stored on your smartphone. 1. Open the MirrorOp Sender for Galaxy app and connect to the MirrorOp receiver. 2. Select the Media function to stream to MirrorOp receiver. 3. Select a media file on your phone. 4. Use the icons on the MirrorOp Sender for Galaxy screen (shown below) to control the streaming. 7 Projecting a Presentation with MirrorOp Sender for Galaxy MirrorOp Sender for Galaxy can transmit slides from a converted Microsoft PowerPoint Slide show. Once you have converted your presentation and added it to the MirrorOp Sender for Galaxy application, you are ready to wirelessly project the slides to the 3M MirrorOp receiver. 1. Convert Powerpoint files to PtG2 format. See Using PtG Converter on next page. 2. Attach your phone to your computer using the USB cable and upload the PtG2 files into your phone. 3. Open the MirrorOp Sender for Galaxy app and connect to the MirrorOp receiver. 4. Select PTG to project the slide presentation through the MirrorOp receiver. 5. Use the icons on the MirrorOp Sender for Galaxy screen (shown below) to control the slide presentation. Icon Description Previous page Previous item Next item

9 Using PtG2 converter Note: PtG2 converter only runs on Windows operating systems. Download and Install Download the PtG2 converter software from the MirrorOp website ( Opening PTG2 Converter Open PtG2 Converter in PtG2 Converter folder from Programs in the Start menu. The following control panel is displayed on your Desktop when it is launched: Icon Description Expands and collapse the preview panel. Preview the PTG file recently created. Open another PTG file to preview. Converting a Microsoft PowerPoint Slide Show 1. Click the <Convert> button. Browse to the Power Point file to be converted and double click on the file. 2. The Select Files window will open. Record the Name and Location of the converted output file so you can find it later.

10 3. Click <OK> to continue. 4. PtG2 Converter will open the PowerPoint file and convert it to PtG2 format. Note: You will see the conversion process on your Desktop. Wait until the process is complete before proceeding. A message will be displayed when complete. Click <OK> to continue. 5. Now you are ready to add your newly converted slideshow to the MirrorOp Sender for Galaxy. See Projecting a presentation with MirrorOp Sender for Galaxy
