2 Affective Services formed in 1984 is a family owned and operated civil contracting company based at Montague St, North Wollongong NSW. The organisation has since expanded and now employs over 150 staff and covers all aspects of the domestic commercial and industrial requirements for demolition, asbestos removal, earthmoving, site decontamination and site remediation, recycling, plant hire, heavy and bulk haulage, hook & skip bin hire, traffic management, and dust control. We provide you with all the services from the planning and design to council approvals, site decontamination and remediation, asbestos removal and disposal, demolition of existing structures, bulk and detailed excavation, rock sawing, shotcrete and shoring, plant hire, hook & skip bin hire, quarry and recycled materials. We hold Class 1 Unrestricted Workcover approved license for demolition and AS1 asbestos removal & disposal. Our OHS Management System complies with the requirements of AS/NZS 4801 and OHSAS This registration covers the Occupational Health and Safety Management system for Civil, Demolition, Haulage, Plant and Equipment Hire, Asbestos and Hazardous Materials Removal, Site Remediation, Handling and Haulage of Dangerous Goods. Our organisation has a large resource base in people, experience, equipment and materials. 3 Demolition: WorkCover NSW Approved Class 1 Unrestricted Licence. Affective is acknowledged as southern Sydney s leading demolition contractor. Demolition is our speciality. We offer a complete asbestos, demolition & civil package that includes the planning and council approval, total site control, decontamination of asbestos and hazardous materials from the site and structures, full strip out and total demolition, recycling & removal of all materials from site. The plant and attachments that the Company uses are specialist demolition tools. Many of the excavators have Rops/Fops canopies to ensure operator safety and the attachments allow the hand labour to be minimized. Affective has excavators ranging from 1 tonne up to 75 tonne we also have a specialist high reach triple boom demolition machine with 18 m of reach. All our excavators have hydraulic hammers, grapples, rippers, pulverisers and shear attachments. Affective can coordinate and move your project seamlessly forward between stages by ensuring our civil team safely starts the civil works whilst the demolition work is winding up. Asbestos: WorkCover Approved AS1 Asbestos Removal & Disposal. IN 2012 AFFECTIVE SERVICES ACQUIRED THE ASBESTOS DIVISION OF TRANSPACIFIC. Affective Services have extensive experience and practical knowledge of the asbestos removal techniques required to complete any project safely and in line with the high standards required. We are able to offer the following services: - All types of asbestos removal (friable/bonded) - Contaminated site cleanup - Removal of asbestos roofing, wall sheeting, fences, tiles and other materials containing asbestos from industrial and commercial premises - Removal of asbestos pipe lagging and subsequent re-insulation, often whilst plant and equipment is still in operation - Removal of asbestos and other contaminants in soil - Domestic asbestos removal and strip-outs - Repair or encapsulation of asbestos lined walls and roofs - Asbestos surveys, testing and analysis - Decontamination of contaminated air-conditioning duct work/plant - Dust, debris, noise, odour and vibration monitoring and control - Contaminated site investigation - Contaminated site remediation - Emergency response clean-up from fire damage, storm damage or other incident. 4 Transport: Truck & Dog Tippers, Heavy Haulage Affective Services Transport fleet consists of Rigid Truck & Dogs Tippers, Tilt Trays, Low Loaders, WaterCarts, Hook and Skip Bin Trucks, Vacuum/Suction Trucks. Our fleet consists of well-maintained up to date vehicles, which are fully maintained and serviced by our in-house workshop according to our maintenance program. All trucks and dogs are fitted with ground activated tarps as standard equipment. Affective provide our customers a range of services, which include; - Supply, transport and disposal of materials. - Sourcing, supply and transport of quarry and recycled Materials. - Load, transport and disposal of contaminated and dangerous materials. - Affective Services vehicles are EPA licensed. Plant & Equipment Hire: Affective Services owns and operates a large fleet of Heavy Equipment for WET & DRY hire. Our fleet includes Caterpillar, Hitachi, and Case equipment with a vast range of attachments. Our wet hire service is backed with the support of the company s crew of onsite supervisors and mechanics to ensure machines and operators are always working at optimal performance. With our fleet of company floats and tilt trays your heavy equipment hire can promptly be delivered to any site or location. - Excavators from 1t 75t - Bobcats/Skid Steers - Wheel Loaders - Graders - Traxcavators - Rollers - Rocksaws - Non Destructive Excavation Bin Hire: Affective s range of commercial and industrial bins for hire are specifically designed for the removal of all types of construction and demolition waste, including general building materials, concrete, masonry, concrete washout, bricks, steel and asbestos. The service offers a wide range of bins to meet all your waste disposal needs. Bins range from 2-30 cubic-metre in size. Affective can also dispose of all your waste in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner through our Recycling service. All recyclable materials are sorted and recycled to minimise landfill. Asbestos is disposed of at a licensed landfill. Traffic Control: Our Traffic Management division brings 15 years of Traffic Management experience in a wide range of situations. Our staff have extensive knowledge of RTA legislations and requirements, Local Government Act, OH&S Act, Roads Act (Section 138), Transport Act requirements and Road Safety Act. Traffic Management Systems. Our multi-disciplined team also offers a complete design, set up and advice service.
