3 I1) Aggregate Crushing & Screening Operations, Cape Preston, WA INTRODUCTION Company History Mining & Drilling Services Pty Ltd is a WA based Drilling, blasting, crushing, screening and earthworks company. Starting Operation in July 2009, Mining & Drilling Services began with only one drill rig, one loader, one excavator and three dump trucks, with the focus of our work being on drilling and crushing. Having resided in Cape Preston Sino Iron Project for the past 3 and a half years where the bulk of our services were situated MDS accounted for over 200,000 personhours and produced more than 3,500,000 tonnes of rock. During this time our fleet developed immensely now with 49 different types of plant and machinery. Although the bulk of our work was situated at Cape Preston, MDS has always made themselves readily available to other contractors requiring our services with works having been conducted in Norseman (WA (image 8)), Onslow (WA), Tom Price (WA), Elsey Quarry (NT), Karratha (WA), Dampier (WA) and Mataranka (NT (image 2)). Mining & Drilling Services having made such a transformation in the last 3.5 years still continue to grow both in enterprise and in knowledge.
