1 Australia has the highest reported per capita incidence of asbestos-related disease in the world. In the next 20 years, an estimated 30,000 to 40,000 Australians will be diagnosed with an asbestos-related disease and these diseases are not forecast to peak until 2020.* NSW has the highest number of new mesothelioma cases compared to other Australian jurisdictions. The largest numbers of mesothelioma deaths in Australia have occurred in NSW.** Government organisations and local councils are responsible for the regulation of asbestos under work health and safety, public health, environment protection, planning and emergency response legislation. Local councils must take an active role in the safe management of asbestos to assist in reducing the incidence and impact of asbestos-related disease. *Source: Australian Government Asbestos Safety and Eradication Agency Fact sheet on asbestos safety asbestossafety.gov.au/files/factsheet-on-asbestos-safety-august-2013.pdf **Source: NSW State-wide Asbestos Plan (Pg. 6)

5 Our Products: Safe-T Map Build the system that s right for your business. Safe-T Map s modular construction allows you to build a system to suit your needs. Document content can be edited to reflect the way you do business. Track relationships, such as those between hazards and accidents, and monitor key performance indicators. Safe-T Map s secure, online risk management system is accessible by staff anywhere in the world, enabling your business to systematically analyse all aspects of your business portfolio. Safe-T Map summarises in one quick point of reference all relevant requirements from various legislation, codes of practice and references to Australian standards. Safe-T Map s online system allows total management and integration, from initial incident report through to alteration of your business management systems and procedures. Nominated persons are automatically advised by of any incidents and full reporting facilities are available at any time. Safe-T Induct Learning Management Systems (LMS) or elearning is an increasingly popular way for businesses of every size to train and communicate with their staff and contractors. With this trend in mind, Best Practice Managed Solutions has created an LMS built from the experience of others. We have built our own LMS Platform to meet current needs. Safe-T Induct allows your business to create training programs for individual staff members including Risk Assessment and Safe Operating Procedures. Our Mobile App and Verification of Competency App provide training direct to the worker available to engage during down or lost time Safe-T CPR Safe-T CPR (Compliance Prosecution Rescue) is a lifeline for businesses facing prosecution for WH&S compliance issues. Best Practice Managed Solutions can assess your business to identify areas for improvement and recommend a managed path to compliance to satisfy WH&S Regulators. Safe-T Plan Safe-T Plan is the flagship of Best Practice Managed Solutions (BPMS), combining industry expertise and cutting edge technologies. Safe-T Plan is an online, fully integrated, risk management system for WH&S, Environmental and Quality Assurance compliance, including the management of human resources records such as training, health management and performance. Safe-T Check Safe-T Check takes the risk out of Contractor Management. Today, with approximately two million contractors available for engagement (being over 800,000 Small Medium Enterprises), an organisation needs to manage the contractor to ensure their own legal and contractual obligations continue to be met. Your organisation cannot abrogate its responsibilities simply by engaging a contractor. Many have done little or nothing to meet their Legal Obligations in regard to Work Health and Safety. Too many are too busy. Traditional employment relationships are about levels of managerial control; a hierarchy of emotive control, whilst the relationship with a contractor changes to one of engagement and commercial contract.
6 Vertical integration with other products Safe-T Check, Safe-T Plan, Safe-T Induct and Get Safe Training, along with other market products, provide the possibility for vertical integration of management of systems under the banner of Safe-T Map. The Safe-T Check process identifies the short falls in contractors systems and the other products provide a remedial path to offer the contractor a path to achieve compliance. The cost of achieving compliance is at the contractors expense. Due Diligence Successful implementation of a quality system sets up measurable internal processes, which in turn gives confidence to your customers about your capability to meet their needs. IS09001, IS and IS have a strong focus on providing well-managed systems to address Quality, Environmental and Safety Management. They are international standards applicable to any organisation from any industry and cover all activities. The process model based on the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle is a four step process for quality improvement and provides the framework for the product/service cycle, including management review and control. It enables decisions based on accurate and timely information. An Integrated Management System has a foundation based on fundamentally good business practices and assists an organisation to focus on goal orientation, systematic management and continual improvement. Safe-T Map Safe-T Map is the vertical integration of systems to deliver our suite of products. This includes: Safe-T Plan Get Safe Training (RTO 31465) Safe-T Induct Plug-in for Solve 360 CRM Safe-T Check Plug-in for Xero Accounting software Our Partnership Latitude 12 and Best Practice have formed a strategic partnership to deliver best in class Workplace Health and Safety tools and systems throughout Australia. Safe workplaces are achieved with integrated management systems.
