4 Legislative environment evolvement in Nordics Sweden (5.2M) Legislation resulted to full roll-out by end of 2009 Monthly billing as driving requirement Hourly metering, breaker and relays were requested in many cases Some though missing hourly metering capability Finland (3.2M) Legislation requested 80% roll-out by end of 2013 Hourly metering, 4Q, load control relays, power quality information in meters In practise roll-out will be close to 100% by Delivery quality important part of AMM (power break compensation to consumers) 4

5 Legislative environment evolvement in Nordics Denmark (3.3M) No forcing/mandating legislation in place Above kWh/y must be hourly metered Efficiency, quality of supply and energy saving targets though have encouraged DSO s to invest in remote metering In practise early 2012 over 60% of metering points were already installed or contracted to be under hourly metering (DONG with 1.1M MP s largest missing DSO) De-facto requirements are hourly metering, 4Q, with power quality and multi-energy support 5
