Statistical Yearbook Bangladesh 2013 December 2013 The SYB is the most important public document, which provides basic statistical information of Bangladesh covering wide range of data on land, population, economy, society, culture and so on covering fifteen different chapters on various aspects.

6 of Statistical Pocketbook April 2014 The Productivity of Banana Crop 2013 August 2014 The Statistical Pocketbook of Bangladesh is one of the core publications of Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS). It provides an overview of the most recent and pertinent annual data compiled on various socio-economic and environmental situation of the country collected from different sources covering fifteen different chapters with data on various sectors. The report provides data Banana crop at different stages, area cultivation, leasing value of the land, land preparation, seeds/seedlings, weeding, insecticides, fertilezers, harvesting and volume of production. 18. The survey report provides number of establishments, employment, wages & salaries, expenditures, income, fixed assets of the real estate sector and changes in the inventory of RE and intermediate consumption patterns.

7 of Child and Mother Nutrition of Bangladesh 2012 December 2013 Gender Statistics of Bangladesh 2012 June 2013 Child Equity Atlas: (Pockets of Social Deprivation in Bangladesh) (jointly by BBS & UNICEF) July 2013 Irregular The report presents the nutritional status of children and mothers by age sex, area of residence and socioeconomic status. It also provides information on underlying determinants of malnutrition including household food security, caring and breast feeding practices, health, environment, maternal and child health care services. Irregular The report reveals the disaggregated data on gender statistics, especially on population, fertility and contraceptive use, health & nutrition, morbidity and health services, disability, economic participation and gender, education, expenditure & poverty, women expenditure & poverty, empowerment, violence against women, etc. The major focus of this report is an analysis on children aged up to18 years and women aged years to show the patterns of social development outcomes across the areas and population groups, with light on a composite deprivation index to measure progress and produce maps with geographical location. The maps will provide a uniquely powerful visualisation of the issues.

Tourism Satellite Accounts (TSA) of Bangladesh (Pilot) June 2014 The report provides elaborate information on the types of tourism and its consumption, direct & indirect contribution of tourism to GDP and tourism employment in Bangladesh. It presents the compilation of TSA tables by products and market prices, production account of tourism industries & employment and so on. 24. Cost of Production 2012 (Papaya, Brinjal, Tomato & Watermelon) December 2010 The report provides data Papaya, Brinjal and Watermelon crops at different stages, area of cultivation, leasing value of the land, land preparation, seeds/seedlings, weeding, insecticides, fertilezers, harvesting and volume of production.

Types of activities performed by them, living arrangement, use of leisure time by sex & by class, association with socioeconomic and cultural organisations by types are focused..

It is the 17 th issue of its series. The publication mainly highlights on sector-wise economic performances of the country through presenting a number of lead macroeconomic indicators. The survey of 2010 recorded labour force participation of all persons aged 15 years and above covering the whole geographic area of the country. The participation has been classified into four categories namely, employed, unemployed, underemployed and not in the labour force.

The survey has addressed the (i) rural and urban volunteers, their number and gender classifications, (ii) age distribution & education levels, (iii) volunteers rates, (iv) formal and informal volunteering activities by organisations, and (v) annual volunteering hours and their money valuation Census on Agriculture 2008 (Analytical Report) December 2011 Report of the Household Income & Expenditure 2010 December 2011 The latest 2008 agriculture census completed during the period May The report has provided information on number of agricultural holdings, ownership by type, land use, cropping pattern, irrigation and other inputs, equipment, livestock and poultry, fisheries, crop damages, rural credit etc. The Household Income Expenditure 2010 (HIES) is a core survey for socioeconomic indicators of the country which provides in details the household income, expenditure, consumption and poverty situation in the country. The data of this survey is considered as the main source in Bangladesh for estimation of poverty and its correlates.

13 of Pilot on Working Children in Dry Fish Industry in Bangladesh 2010 December 2011 Bangladesh Central Product Classification April 2012 National Accounts Statistics (Provisional Estimates of GDP, and Final estimates of GDP, ) May 2012 BBS has conducted the survey in 2010 in five selected coastal districts. The aim of this survey was to investigate the forced labour of children and its measurement on the basis of some indicators such as unfair recruitment, work imposed freedom of work, dependency, coercion/penalty etc. in line with ILO Conventions C 29 and C 105. Bangladesh Central Product Classification constitutes a complete product classification covering goods and services to provide a general framework for international comparison of data from various types of statistics. BBS has developed product classifi-cation guide entitled Bangladesh Central Product Classification (BCPC) 2011 following the Central Product Classification (CPC) version 2 of the UN Statistical Office.
