7 of Child and Mother Nutrition of Bangladesh 2012 December 2013 Gender Statistics of Bangladesh 2012 June 2013 Child Equity Atlas: (Pockets of Social Deprivation in Bangladesh) (jointly by BBS & UNICEF) July 2013 Irregular The report presents the nutritional status of children and mothers by age sex, area of residence and socioeconomic status. It also provides information on underlying determinants of malnutrition including household food security, caring and breast feeding practices, health, environment, maternal and child health care services. Irregular The report reveals the disaggregated data on gender statistics, especially on population, fertility and contraceptive use, health & nutrition, morbidity and health services, disability, economic participation and gender, education, expenditure & poverty, women expenditure & poverty, empowerment, violence against women, etc. The major focus of this report is an analysis on children aged up to18 years and women aged years to show the patterns of social development outcomes across the areas and population groups, with light on a composite deprivation index to measure progress and produce maps with geographical location. The maps will provide a uniquely powerful visualisation of the issues.

The participation has been classified into four categories namely, employed, unemployed, underemployed and not in the labour force.

The data of this survey is considered as the main source in Bangladesh for estimation of poverty and its correlates.

The aim of this survey was to investigate the forced labour of children and its measurement on the basis of some indicators such as unfair recruitment, work imposed freedom of work, dependency, coercion/penalty etc. in line with ILO Conventions C 29 and C 105. Bangladesh Central Product Classification constitutes a complete product classification covering goods and services to provide a general framework for international comparison of data from various types of statistics. BBS has developed product classifi-cation guide entitled Bangladesh Central Product Classification (BCPC) 2011 following the Central Product Classification (CPC) version 2 of the UN Statistical Office.
