2 Rules & Regulations Governing 2016 Golf Memberships Charge Privileges Members are required to have a valid credit card on file. House Charge privileges are provided complimentary to members and are valid at all points of sale. Membership Cards with an identifying account number shall be issued to each member. All food, beverages, merchandise & services billed to a member account will automatically be charged against a secured credit card. Statements mailed monthly. A $25 late fee will be assessed to all member accounts not paid in full by the 15 th of each month. Membership Cards must be presented upon request at all points of sale. Individual receipts will not be provided with monthly statements. Membership Cards are non- transferable. Apple Mountain must be notified immediately of a lost or stolen charge card. Any charges incurred prior to notification are the responsibility of the member. Family Members Family members are defined as immediate family (husband, wife, children) only. Children eligible for benefits of membership must be twenty- one (21) years or younger and living at home. Children attending college are eligible through the age of twenty- two (22). Parents or guardians of minors are directly responsible for items charged to their member account as well as for the actions of their minor children. Food and Beverages Members and their immediate family receive 10% off food items purchased in Kathleen s Restaurant and Putters Pointe Café. Discount does not apply to food items purchased on course or at the Halfway House. Members must be present for family members to receive a discount. All food & beverages consumed at Apple Mountain must be furnished by the resort. Personal coolers are not allowed on the golf course. Michigan law mandates that all alcoholic beverages must be purchased from Apple Mountain. Any violations of these rules may result in forfeiture of membership. Golf Privileges Full Golf Members receive unlimited golf and cart fees seven days a week. Limited Morning (AM) Golf Members receive unlimited golf and cart fees Monday through Friday before 12:00 p.m. (excluding holidays). Members receive $10 off regular rack rates for 18 holes of golf and $5 off regular rack rates for 9 holes outside membership hours. 3 Page 2 Weekend Golf Members receive unlimited golf and cart fees Friday, Saturday and Sunday anytime (excludes holidays). Members will receive $10 off regular rack rates for 18 holes of golf and $5 off regular rack rates for 9 holes outside membership hours. Fees charged will be based on seasonal golf rates. * Cancellation of tee times must be made at least 24 hours in advance of play. Members will be assessed a $25 per tee time no show fee. Memberships are not valid for organized play. * (Excludes Senior, Twilight and Special Promotional Rates) Golf Rules Members and their guests shall abide by all Rules and Regulations of The Apple Mountain Golf Club. Play on the course is governed by USGA Rules, with the exception of local rules, which take precedence. The Board of Directors, General Manager, Director of Golf, Head Golf Professional and Golf Course Superintendent of Apple Mountain are empowered to enforce all golf course rules. It is the policy of Apple Mountain to play foursomes. We will pair twosomes and threesomes whenever possible. Two carts per foursome only. Members must register at all times in the Golf Shop before beginning play. Violation may result in membership forfeiture. Cutting- in is not permitted at any time. Play must only be commenced at the first hole unless otherwise permitted by the Head Golf Professional. Practice is not allowed on the golf course. The practice range, if available, and the practice putting greens should be used for all practice. The use of golf carts is mandatory. Operators of golf carts must have a valid driver s license. Guest Privileges Member Guests receive a special rate of $42 for 18 holes of golf with cart and $25 for 9 holes with cart. Guest rates do not apply outside limited membership hours. Fees charged will be based on seasonal golf rates. Members must accompany all guests receiving a discounted rate for golf fees. Members are responsible for all charges and the actions of their guests. Driving Range Driving Range is open during normal Golf Shop hours; the Range may be closed from time to time for general maintenance, events or at the discretion of management. Range balls are to be used on the Driving Range only and are not to be used on the golf course. Members receive special pricing on range balls. Member guests charged regular rate. Sharing or taking range bags for guests may result in loss of Range Membership Hours of Operation The golf, ski and Clubhouse facilities available at Apple Mountain shall be open on the days and during the hours established by Apple Mountain. Areas of the Clubhouse, golf course, range and ski slopes may be closed from time to time for scheduled maintenance repair, special events or functions. Seasonal starts and closings are at the sole discretion of the management at Apple Mountain.

4 Page 3 Locker Rental One locker available for lease per membership. Locker assignment will be made on a first- come, first- serve basis. Lockers are available only during golf season (April 15 th through November 1 st ) Membership Fees Annual membership application and billing will be mailed in January. Membership dues are non- refundable and are non- transferable. Membership Status Membership is not an investment, nor does it provide an equity or ownership interest in Apple Mountain. Merchandise Members will receive a 10% discount on hard goods (excluding Ping) and 20% discount on soft goods in the Golf Shop (not valid with any other special, discount or promotion.) Ski Privileges Members and their families receive a 20% discount on regularly priced season ski & snowboard passes. Resignation, Suspension and Termination of Member Rights and Privileges Apple Mountain may suspend or expel a member, family member or guest for cause or non- payment of fees at its discretion. Any person expelled will immediately and automatically forfeit all membership privileges. Apple Mountain reserves the right to discontinue offering any category of membership and/or create additional categories of membership, as it deems appropriate. It is the intent of Management to limit these Rules and Regulations to the minimum that is required to insure the enjoyment of Members and their guests. Members will be notified in writing of all changes and amendments to the Rules and Regulations. The decision of the Board of Directors of Apple Mountain shall be final on all questions involving the interpretation or construction of the Rules and Regulations set forth. Members are required to submit a signed statement indicating they have read, understand and will abide by the rules and regulations governing play outlined in this document. January 2016
